Terrorists and their Commanders Killed as SAA Counter-Terrorism Ops Continue Across the Country

The army foils terrorist attacks in different areas, destroys 16 vehicles in Homs

Army

Provinces, SANA-The army and armed forces on Thursday inflicted more losses upon terrorist organizations in personnel and equipment in various areas.

Homs

Army units, backed by the Army Air Force, carried out intensive operations against hideouts and movements of terrorists in Talbiseh area, 13 km to the north of Homs city, central Syria.

A military source confirmed in a statement to SANA that many terrorists, most of whom affiliated to Jabhat al-Nusra and the so-called “Homs Legion” and “Ahrar al-Sham Movement” terrorist groups, were killed in the operations.

Those included the terrorist Ali Radwan, who was identified as one of the leaders of the terrorist groups in the area, according to the source.

16 vehicles, including three armored ones, were also destroyed during the operations, which were concentrated in the surroundings of Talbiseh town.

The Army Air Force carried out strikes against gatherings of terrorists in the surroundings of Talbiseh Citadel, leaving many of the terrorists dead or wounded.

Later, the Army Air Force targeted ISIS gatherings and destroyed their vehicles in the surroundings of Jazal and al-Shaer oil fields and Palmyra city and Tafha in the eastern countryside of Homs province.

Hama

The army air forces targeted ISIS terrorists in the areas of Sarha, Jana al-Albawi, Umm al-Izz, Aqerbat and Ezz Eddin to the east of Hama city, killing and injuring dozens of terrorists and destroying a number of their vehicles.

In Hama northern countryside, the army destroyed hideouts and gatherings for Jabhet al-Nusra terrorists in al-Latamna, al-Taman’a, al-Mansoura and Maarkaba.

Damascus Countryside

An Army unit targeted terrorists’ positions in al-Nashabiyeh village in Damascus Countryside, destroying a weapons depot and a facility for making rocket shells.

Another army unit killed a number of ISIS terrorists and destroyed two vehicles equipped with heavy machineguns in Tal Dakwa in the eastern countryside of Damascus.

In the southwestern countryside of Damascus, an army unit carried out operations against dens and gatherings of terrorists in Khan al-Sheeh Farms, leaving many of them dead.

Lattakia

In the northern countryside of the coastal province of Lattakia, an army unit repelled terrorists who attempted to attack military posts in Jabal Zahia “Zahia Mountain” in Rabi’eh area.

Another army unit destroyed a rocket launcher and a bulldozer belonging to terrorists in Ras al- Jerf.

In the meantime, large numbers of terrorists were killed, others were injured and dozens of their vehicles were destroyed in Army air strikes in Kitf al-Rumman, al-Noubeh, Wadi al-Azrak and al-Durreh in the countryside.

Idleb

In the countryside of the neighboring Idleb province, an army unit targeted hideouts for terrorists of “Jaish al-Fath” group in Cou’a al-Hatab in Ariha area.

Earlier, SANA reporter in Idleb province said units of the army and armed forces inflicted heavy losses among the ranks of terrorist organizations which tried to infiltrate into the areas of Tal Sahen, Janet a-Qura and Sugar factory in the countryside.

The army also targeted terrorists’ concentrations in Abu al-Dohour, Tal Salmo and al-Majas, about 40 km to the east of Idleb city, killing a number of terrorists and destroying their hideouts and weaponry.

Aleppo

In the same context, the Army Air Force destroyed dens and vehicles for terrorists in al-Mansoura, Maaret al-Artic, al-Lairamoun, Blat, al-Sheikh Lutfi, Kafar Hamra and al-Tiba farms in Aleppo province.

Meanwhile, terrorist organizations acknowledged on Thursday that two of their groups’ leaders were killed during army operations in northern Aleppo.

The two terrorists are Ismael Akhras and Mohammad Ahmad al-Imam, who were identified on the terrorist organizations’ social media pages as leaders within “The Gathering of Hreitan Battalions” and “The Gathering of Joint Defense” in Anadan city.

They were reportedly killed last night in the surroundings of Bashkoui area in the northern countryside of Aleppo.

The two terrorist groups are known to be affiliated to the so–called “Al-Jabha al-Shamiyeh” terrorist organization, which is linked to the Turkish and Saudi regimes.

Daraa

An army unit carried out precise operations against dens of Jabhat al -Nusra terrorist organization and the so-called Al-Muthana Islamic Movement in al-Nazihin Camp in Daraa al-Balad neighborhood.

A  number of terrorists were killed in the operations and others were injured, in addition to destroying their arms and ammunition.

Quneitra 

Meanwhile units of the army killed dozens of Takfiri terrorist organizations’ members in intensive strikes against their positions and supply routes in the vicinity of Tal Kroum Jabba, Jabbata al-Khashab, al-Teeha and Mas’hara in the northeastern countryside of the southern Quneitra province.

Deir Ezzor

The army killed 35 terrorists of ISIS organization, some of them of foreign nationalities, destroyed a rocket launching-pad and vehicles equipped with machine guns in al-Hweka, al-Jafra and Rasafa in Deir Ezzor.

Earlier, The army air force killed tens of terrorists, destroyed two armored vehicles and 15 vehicles equipped with machine guns in al-Mre’eye, Hweihet al-Mre’eye, Bou Omar, al-Rishdeye and al-Jafra in Deir Ezzor.

The Army Air Force targeted groups of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria “ISIS” terrorists and destroyed their vehicles in al-Husseiniyeh and al-Mrei’iyieh in the eastern province of Deir Ezzor.

More terrorists killed in the surroundings of al-Tha’leh airport, Idleb and other areas

Provinces, SANA – Army units targeted terrorist organizations’ positions in various areas, intensifying operations in the southern region where over a hundred terrorists were killed.

Aleppo

The army air force killed tens of terrorists and destroyed vehicles, equipped with various machine guns, in the surrounding of scientific research north of al-Zourba and Daret Izza in Aleppo countryside.

earlier, a source in Aleppo province refuted the claims promoted by malicious media outlets about terrorists establishing control over al-Rashidin neighborhood in the western outskirts of Aleppo city.

The source told SANA that army units clashed with terrorists, most of them from Jabhet al-Nusra, at the outskirts of the neighborhood, inflicting heavy losses on them in personnel and equipment.

It added that army units prevented terrorists from sneaking from al-Mansoura village, which is located around 10km west of Aleppo city, to the Science Research complex, killing and injuring a number of terrorists.

Later, the army destroyed dens for terrorists, killed many of them in the surrounding of the air force academy, Bani Zaid, al-Laeramoun, al-Ashrafiya, Kfar Hamra, Salah al-Dain, old Aleppo, Rashideen, Khan al-Assal, Bustan al-Basha, Sukkari and Hreitan in Aleppo and its countryside.

Daraa

Army units destroyed a hideout with terrorists inside in the vicinity of Um Walad village near al-Tha’leh airport and killed many terrorists in the towns of al-Neima’a, Tafas and Nasib in the countryside of the southern Daraa province, according to a military source.

An army unit destroyed a terrorists’ den in the surroundings of Um Walad and in al-Nu’eimeh town in the eastern countryside of the province.

Another army unit killed a number of terrorists of Jabhat al-Nusra and its affiliates and destroyed their vehicles and equipment as it targeted their movements in Tafas town in the northern countryside of the province.

To the southeast of the province, an army unit killed Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in Nassib town near the border with Jordan.

In the city of Daraa, army units destroyed terrorists’ dens in Daraa al-Balad neighborhood, leaving a number of terrorists dead and destroying their arms and ammunition.

In Tal al-Harra (hill), which is used by terrorists as a base for launching attacks on neighboring areas, army units targeted dens of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists, leaving large numbers of the terrorists killed and others injured.

Sweida

The army killed a number of ISIS terrorists in Sweida north-eastern countryside.

A military source told SANA that an army unit clashed with ISIS terrorists to the east of Banat Bae’r hill in Sweida countryside.

It added the army killed and injured members of the group and destroyed their weapons and munitions.

Quneitra

In the neighboring Quneitra province, army units fired intensively on terrorists’ positions and supply routes in Um Batina village and to the south of Karm Jaba in the countryside of the province, killing numbers of the terrorists.

More terrorists were killed during army operations in the villages of al-Tiha, Mas’hara and al-Samadaniyeh in the northeastern countryside of the province.

Army units foiled an attempted attack by terrorist organizations on Tal al-Shaar, Tal Bazzaq, and kroum Jaba in Quneitra countryside, killing and injuring 200 terrorists.

Damascus Countryside

The Army Air Force destroyed a terrorists’ ammunition depot and targeted their groups in the surroundings of Beit Jinn and Khan al-Sheeh areas in Damascus Countryside.

An army unit launched strikes against the dens and gatherings of terrorist organizations in Bait Saber and Bait Teema villages in the southwestern countryside of Damascus, killing a number of terrorists and destroying their arms and ammunition.

Army units targeted terrorists in the vicinity of al-Nashabiyeh and Hamouriyeh in Eastern Ghouta, destroying a mortar launcher and a cannon and leaving dozens of the terrorists killed or injured.

Homs

In central Syria, army units killed numbers of terrorists who attempted to infiltrate from al-Msheirfeh al-Shamaliyeh village towards Khattab village in the countryside of Homs province, in addition to killing other terrorists in the villages of al-Saan and Ein Hussein al-Janoubi.

The army’s air force destroyed tens of vehicles, killed scores of ISIS terrorists in the surrounding of Jazal field in Palmyra and to the east of al-Qaryatin in Homs countryside.

Hama

A military source told SANA that the Army’s Air Force destroyed gatherings and vehicles of ISIS and Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in Oqairbat, al-Qastal al-Westani, Skek, Kafar Zeta, and Markaba in Hama countryside.

Idleb

Units of the army and armed forces killed terrorists of what is called “Jaish al-Islam” at the axes of al-Habiet, Hersh al-Qasabeen and al-Ghamqa in the southern countryside of the province, SANA reporter said

The army air force eliminated a number of terrorists and destroyed their vehicles in Tal Salmu, South of Abu al-Dhour airport, al-Sahn, Ayn Hamra and Tramla in Idleb countryside, according to the military source.

Earlier, the army’s Air Force destroyed a number of vehicles equipped with machineguns in Bashlamon, and eliminated dozens of terrorists in al-Majas, Jana al-Qura, and Sahan in Idleb countryside.

‪Aleppo‬, SANA – Terrorist organizations acknowledged on Thursday that two of their groups’ leaders were killed during army operations in northern Aleppo province.

78 wanted persons turn themselves in

Damascus, SANA – 78 wanted persons from Damascus and its countryside turned themselves in to the authorities so that they could have their legal status settled.

Authorities settled yesterday the legal status of 243 wanted people from the city and countryside of Homs who had earlier turned themselves in.
