National flag hoisted in Ghadir al-Bostan town in Quneitra countryside

With the participation of the locals, the flag of the Syrian Arab Republic was hoisted on Sunday in Ghadir al-Bostan town in Quneitra southern countryside.

SANA reporter in Quneitra said that units of the internal security forces entered Ghadir al-Bostan town to the south of Quneitra city to enhance the security and stability in it and to pave the way for the return of the state institutions to it amid a warm welcome by the locals who gathered to participate in hoisting the national flag.

Quneitra Police Commander Jassem al-Abudllah told SANA that the internal security forces will return to practice their usual work of providing services and applying law and guaranteeing the security and stability for citizens in cooperation with the Syrian Arab Army.

A number of the town’s local expressed comfort over the return of security and stability to their town thanks to the heroism of the Syrian Arab Army and its sacrifices.

They welcomed the return of the state institutions to their town.

Army reinforces deployment towards Sweida desert, conducts concentrated strikes against Daesh movements

Units of the Syrian Arab Army continued to reinforce deployment in the direction of Sweida al-Badyia, in parallel with conducting concentrated strikes against Daesh (ISIS) positions and their movements.

SANA reporter in Sweida said that the air force and artillery on Monday carried out special strikes on vehicles for Daesh terrorists in the areas of al-Waer, Ard al-Karaa, Mazrea al-Hhatib, Sneim al-Ghirz and east of Dabatheh, Rabbet al-Hisn and Tel Razin 15-30 km from the villages of the eastern and northeastern countryside.

The reporter added that heavy losses were inflicted upon the terrorists in personnel and vehicles.

4 civilians martyred, 15 injured in explosive devices blast in Daraa

Four civilians were martyred and 15 others were injured in a blast of IEDs and mines left behind by Daesh (ISIS) in the towns of Sahm al-Jolan and Kwia in Yarmouk basin in the western countryside of Daraa.

SANA’s reporter in Daraa said that three civilians were martyred and 15 others were injured in al-Kwia town when a set of explosive devices which were planted earlier by Daesh went off.

Meanwhile in Sahm al-Jolan, a 30-year-old woman was martyred in an explosion of a landmine left behind by Daesh terrorists in the town before they were defeated by the Syrian Arab Army.

Quneitra

A civilian was injured as an explosive device from the remnants of terrorist groups went off south of Hadar village in the northern countryside of Quneitra.

SANA reporter said that a farmer from Hadar village was injured by shrapnel as an explosive device from terrorists’ remnants in Tel al-Hamriyeh to the south of the village went off.

The reporter added that the injured civilian was transported to Mamdouh Abaza Hospital in al-Quneitra and received necessary medical treatment.
