Hezbollah strongly condemned the continued Israeli aggression against the Syrian Arab Republic and its repeated targeting of its installations and military and civilian structures.
In a statement Saturday, Hezbollah praised the vigilance of the Syrian Arab army, which responded valiantly to hostile Israeli aircraft and managed to shoot down an F-16 fighter jet.
“We deplore the support of the blatant enemy of terrorism and the Takfiri groups and its entry into the Syrian crisis through the gate of aggression and threats. We affirm that today’s developments are categorically the fall of the old equations. Hezbollah affirms its firm and strong stand with the Syrian people in defending their land, sovereignty and legitimate rights.

وأشاد حزب الله في بيان له السبت “بيقظة الجيش العربي السوري الذي تصدى ببسالة للطائرات الإسرائيلية المعادية وتمكن من اسقاط مقاتلة من طراز أف 16″، ورأى ان “هذا الامر يعلن عن بداية مرحلة استراتيجية جديدة تضع حدا لاستباحة الأجواء والأراضي السورية”.
وقال حزب الله “إننا إذ نستنكر دعم العدو السافر للإرهاب والجماعات التكفيريية ودخوله على خط الأزمة السورية من بوابة العدوان والتهديدات نؤكد أن تطورات اليوم تعني بشكل قاطع سقوط المعادلات القديمة”، وشدد على “وقوفه الثابت والقوي إلى جانب الشعب السوري في الدفاع عن أرضه وسيادته وحقوقه المشروعة”.
