Russian intelligence reported that Washington is coordinating sabotage operations with Daesh from the US military base in Al-Tanf in Syria.
The United States plans to use members of terrorist groups to kidnap Russian and Iranian soldiers in Syria, Sergey Naryshkin, director of Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service, revealed on Monday.
In the official’s opinion, with these actions Washington intends, by means of state terrorism, to undermine the positions of the legitimate government in Damascus, headed by Bashar al-Assad.
Naryshkin also warned about preparations for sabotage actions by elements of the Daesh extremist group from the US military base in Al-Tanf, located in the Syrian province of Homs.
According to the executive, Americans and British are working on the formation of secret criminal units in remote areas to incite hostilities in various regions of the country.
According to the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service, the United States assigns a special role to the so-called Free Syrian Army, an armed group composed of Kurdish opponents.
