A military source announced that Syrian air defenses intercepted a hostile target coming from north of Lebanon, and destroyed it before reaching its target in Misyaf area in Hama countryside.
The military source told SANA in a statement that “At 11:06 pm on Thursday evening , our air defense detected a hostile target coming from northern Lebanon towards Misyaf city.”
The source added that the our air defenses immediately intercepted the hostile target before reaching its target.
Syrian Air Defense Destroys Intruding Missiles Targeting Syria’s Hama
TEHRAN (FNA)- The Syrian air defenses intercepted a hostile flying target coming from North of Lebanon, and destroyed it before reaching the city of Misyaf in Hama province, the Arabic-language media outlets reported.
“At 11:06 p.m. on Thursday evening, our air defense detected a hostile target flying from Northern Lebanon towards Misyaf city,” the SANA news agency quoted a military source as saying in a statement.
The source noted that the Syrian Army’s air defenses immediately intercepted the hostile target before it reached its target.
Another missile was intercepted near the town of Meshta al-Helou as it was making its way to the Tartus port area, AMN reported.
The report said the missile came from Lebanon, which means it was most likely fired by the Israeli military.
Israel has increased its attacks on Syrian soil as the Syrian Army is conducting several military operations in the Northern parts of the country.
