Damascus is entirely safe; the army writes the last line in the battles of South Damascus

It is the end of the line for terrorism after fierce battles between heroes of the Syrian army and takfiri terrorists in South Damascus. It is a powerful moment for all Syrians to celebrate this glorious victory.

On Tuesday, the Syrian people and Damascus locals in particular lived the delightful joy of cleansing the capital’s surroundings of terrorism and dispelling the illusions of those who support it and their masters in Washington, the Israeli entity and some western states, as well as removing the threat to the safety of Damascus and its inhabitants.

The unity of the Syrian people and their rallying around their brave army reversed the equation, returned fire on those who inflamed it and defeated their tools in the country.

The Syrian army was stepping into victory with every village and town it had liberated in the eastern and western Ghouta and the intense military operations it carried out against terrorists’ positions which forced them to succumb and hand over their weapons and ammunition.

Terrorists’ last strongholds in al-Hajar al-Aswad area and al-Yarmouk Camp crumbled under the painful blows directed by the Syrian army. Once these areas announced clear of terrorism, units of Internal Security forces entered and hoisted the national flag.

Meanwhile, the army’s engineering units continued to comb the area and dismantle explosive devices and landmines planted by terrorists in preparation for the entry of maintenance workshops and service institutions to repair what has been destroyed, restore normal life and enable families come back to their houses.

Army units repel Daesh attack in al-Mayadeen countryside

Units of the Syrian army repelled terrorist groups affiliated to Daesh (ISIS) terrorist organisation which attacked military outposts in al-Mayadeen area in Deir Ezzor southeastern countryside.

SANA’s reporter said the units engaged in clashes with the attacking groups in al-Mayadeen Badiya (Desert).

The infiltration attempt was aborted with over 10 of the attacking terrorists killed, among them terrorists of foreign nationalities, according to the reporter who added that scores others were injured, a vehicle mounted by a heavy cannon was destroyed and narcotic drugs seized.

Terrorists’ Bases Destroyed in Syrian Army Fire in Hama Province

TEHRAN (FNA)- The Syrian Army’s artillery and missile units launched a heavy shelling attack on the positions of Tahrir al-Sham Hay’at (the Levant Liberation Board or the Al-Nusra Front) in Northern Hama on Wednesday, damaging their strongholds and inflicting a number of casualties on the militants.

The artillery and missile units opened heavy fire at Tahrir al-Sham’s positions near the village of al-Zakah and the town of al-Latamina, destroying several heavy vehicles and killing or wounding a number of terrorists.

Other artillery and missile units pounded more strongholds of the terrorists in Kafr Zita region in Northern Hama, destroying a position and a volume of military equipment and killing several gunmen.

In the meantime, a unit of the army opened fire at a group of Tahrir al-Sham Hay’at in the village of al-Ankawi in Western al-Ghaab Plain and managed to repel their attack.

A number of Tahrir al-Sham’s fighters were killed or wounded and the remaining pockets of them retreated towards Southwestern Idlib.

In a relevant development on Sunday, the Syrian and Russian warplanes carried out a fresh round of combat flights over terrorist-held regions in Northern Hama, destroying militants’ positions.

The fighter jets bombed heavily terrorists’ positions and movements in al-Latamina and Kafr Zita regions in Northern Hama, destroying a number of vehicles and a large volume of military equipment.

A number of terrorists were killed or wounded in the raid too.

Also, the Syrian Army’s artillery and missile units opened heavy fire at terrorists’ strongholds in Northern Hama, imposing major losses on the militants.

Army Discovers Arms Made by Western States in Terrorists’ Positions in Southern Damascus

TEHRAN (FNA)- Damascus government troops discovered a large volume of arms and ammunition in terrorists’ positions, including those made in the western countries, during their mop-up operation in the newly-freed regions of Yalda, Bebeila and Beit Saham in Southern Damascus over the past 24 hours.

A number rifles and machineguns made in the western states, industrial equipment to make weapons and ammunition and also tunnel-digging machinery were found in the depots in Southern Damascus.

The army men also seized medical equipment in the depots that were utilized in the terrorists’ field hospitals in Yalda, Bebeila and Beit Saham regions.

Meantime, the Syrian army continued its military advances in other parts of Syria over the past 24 hours.

Tens of terrorists were killed and dozens more were injured during the Syrian army’s operations in provinces across Syria.

Damascus

The Syrian Army forces continued their mop-up operation in the newly-freed regions of Yalda, Bebeila and Beit Saham in Southern Damascus on Tuesday, discovering a large volume of arms and ammunition in terrorists’ positions, including those made in the western countries.

The army units found several large depots of terrorists’ weapons and ammunition in Yalda, Bebeila and Beit Saham.

A large number of missiles, RPG rockets, mortar shells, landmines, communication devices and a large volume of chemicals to make bombs were found in the depots.

Lattakia

The Russian air defense system shot down an unknown drone flying over regions near the Russia-run Humeimim airbase in Lattakia province, the Defense Ministry announced on Tuesday.

The Russian ministry’s statement said that the country’s air defense system intercepted an unknown drone approaching Humeimim airbase in Lattakia province.

The statement further said that the incident has not incurred any losses.

In the meantime, local sources in Jebleh region in Lattakia reported that the Russian air defense units fired four surface-to-air missiles and destroyed several drones of the terrorists near Humeimim airbase early Tuesday.

Dara’a

The Syrian Army sent more forces and military hardware to Dara’a on Tuesday to kick off an imminent anti-terrorism operation in the Southern province.

The army forwarded a large number of forces and more military equipment to the town of Azra’a in Dara’a province.

A number of armored and personnel carrier vehicles were sent to 175th Regiment Base.

In the meantime, the army’s helicopters dropped thousands of leaflets over militant-held regions, calling on the militants to agree to the army’s peace offer.

A military source pointed to the army’s last ultimatum to the terrorists, saying that the army will launch its operation if the militants oppose Damascus’s reconciliation plan.

Hasaka-Deir Ezzur-Raqqa

The US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) continue vast forced recruitment in Northern and Northeastern Syria, an indication of its preparation for a tough battle with the Turkish troops in the region.

The SDF has long been exercising forced recruitment in Raqqa, Manbij, Hasaka and Eastern Deir Ezzur and the move has led to popular protests.

The SDF has arrested a number of demonstrators who protested the US-backed militias’ forced recruiting in Raqqa, Manbij and Hasaka.

In the meantime, analysts believe that the SDF prefers to recruit Arab youths and train them to use them later in battle with the Ankara forces.

Meanwhile, a US delegation has recently declared the American forces’ support for the SDF in a meeting with the allied militias in the town of Manbij.

Now local sources and analysts say that they believe the SDF is almost through with the plan and its preparing to launch a major assault against the Turkish army in Northern Syria.

Syrian-Russian Delegation Dispatched to Dara’a Province to Start Reconciliation Talks

TEHRAN (FNA)- A Syrian-Russian reconciliation delegation has been forwarded to Dara’a province to offer the militants to lay down their arms and join the peace agreement with the Syrian Army, military sources in Damascus reported on Wednesday.

The sources said that the reconciliation delegation has been sent to the towns of Nahij and Mohaja to call on the militants to end battle with the army and endorse the peace agreement.

The sources further said that if the militants reject the peace offer the army will launch military operation against them.

Also, the sources said that the army has sent a long convoy of military equipment and thousands of fresh forces to Azra base in Dara’a.

The sources said that the army plans to reopen the strategic Nasib Passageway at the border with Jordan as its first priority of operation in Dara’a, adding that the passageway was occupied by the terrorists four years ago.
