“Independence, sovereignty and unity of the people of Syria against the Turkish aggression”
Yesterday, the Turkish authorities committed a new crime of brutally assaulting on the Syrian city of Afrin, resulting in a number of civilian casualties, the bombing continues until now under the pretext of striking Kurdish military positions, in violation of international laws prohibiting the aggression of another country no matter what the justifications.
This attack is part of a series of policies adopted by Erdogan’s fascist regime against Syria, with its US imperialist allies and Arab reactionary regimes in an attempt to overthrow and destroy the Syrian National State.
The Unified Syrian Communist Party strongly condemns the aggression that took place in Afrin and calls on all the national forces to denounce it, and calls on International bodies to act quickly to stop this aggression. We also call on our people in Afrin to confront this aggression in all forms in coordination with the Syrian state in the framework of maintaining the independence and sovereignty and unity of Syria, the land and the people.

بيان الحزب الشيوعي السوري الموحد
بالأمس أقدمت السلطات التركية على ارتكاب جريمة جديدة باعتدائها الوحشي على مدينة عفرين السورية ما أسفر عن وقوع عدد من الضحايا المدنيين بين قتلى وجرحى، وما يزال القصف مستمرا حتى الآن بذريعة ضرب مواقع عسكرية كردية، وبشكل مخالف كل المخالفة للقوانين الدولية التي تحظر اعتداء بلد على بلد آخر مهما كانت المبررات.
إن هذا العدوان يأتي ضمن سلسلة من السياسات التي دأب نظام أردوغان الفاشي على اتباعها ضد سورية والتي ظهرت واضحة للعيان في التواطؤ مع أمريكا ومع الرجعية العربية في محاولاته لإسقاط الدولة الوطنية السورية وتدميرها.
إن الحزب الشيوعي السوري الموحد يدين بشدة هذا العدوان الذي وقع على عفرين وينبه من مخاطره، وندعو كافة القوى الوطنية إلى استنكاره ومطالبة الهيئات الدولية بالتحرك السريع لوقف هذا العدوان، وندعو أهلنا في عفرين إلى مواجهة العدوان بكافه الأشكال وبالتنسيق مع الدولة السورية في إطار الحفاظ على استقلال وسيادة ووحدة سورية أرضا وشعبا.
