Syrian Army Ends ISIL Terrorists’ Presence in Eastern Hama
TEHRAN (FNA)- The Syrian Army troops captured more regions in the Central part of the country, purging completely Eastern Hama of ISIL terrorists, a field source reported on Wednesday.
The source said that the army soldiers won back the village of Hardaneh and Tal (hill) Ayed and Tal Adimeh in Eastern Hama.
The source further said that the ISIL suffered heavy casualties and its military hardware sustained major damage in the attacks.
The Army forces have now the entire Eastern Hama under their control and there is no area left under ISIL’s control in the region.
Earlier reports said that the army troops pushed ISIL back from more regions in Eastern Hama, inching closer to the recapture of the entire border regions between Hama and Homs provinces.
Military sources said that the army soldiers engaged in a tough battle with ISIL in Eastern Hama and imposed full control over the village of Abu Dali al-Sharqi.
In the meantime, a field commander said that the army has made a buffer zone between Eastern Hama and a large part of the triangle of Shoumeriyeh-Jubb al-Jarah-Mount Sha’er in Eastern Homs following its advances against ISIL in the last two days.
The commander further said that the army men have seized control over 30 villages and settlements with almost 1,000sq/km of area in their operation that they started from Sha’er region in Eastern Homs towards the village of al-Faseda in Eastern Hama.
Army advances on Deir Ezzor–al-Mayadin road

Army units thwarted on Wednesday an ISIS attack on a military post in the southwestern countryside of Deir Ezzor, in parallel with continued airstrikes in al-Mayadin in the southeastern part of the province.
The army members clashed with the ISIS terrorists who attacked the military post, located in in Kabajib town, killing scores of them and destroying their weapons and munitions, a military source told SANA.
Meanwhile, the Syrian Air Force launched intensive strikes against fortified positions, centers and movements of ISIS terrorists in the villages of Buqrus al-Fouqani, Jadid Ekeidat, al-Bouleil, and al-Mayadin city in the eastern and southeastern countryside of the province.
The source affirmed that a large number of the terrorists were killed and several of their armored vehicles, cars equipped with machineguns, and artillery positions were destroyed in the airstrikes.
In the same context, SANA reporter said the army advanced further on Deir Ezzor-al-Mayadin road, establishing control over new areas after fierce clashes with ISIS.
A number of ISIS terrorists were killed or injured and three vehicles rigged with a large amount of explosive materials and other vehicles equipped with heavy machineguns were destroyed in the course of the army’s advance, according to the reporter.
More terrorists were reported killed as the army units engaged in fierce clashes with ISIS groups, backed by intensive strikes on ISIS positions, in the villages of Khsham, Hatla Fouqani, al-
Husseniyeh, Saalo, Islah al-Tibeh, al-Bouleil, and al-Salehiyeh as well as in the cities of Mohassan and al-Mayadin and the neighborhoods of al-Jbeileh, Kanamat, al-Ardi, and Khassarat.
The Syrian Air Force carried out intensive sorties against ISIS gatherings, positions, and vehicle convoys in the eastern countryside of Salamiyeh in Hama province.
A military source told SANA Wednesday that the Syrian Air Force destroyed scores of ISIS vehicles, some equipped with machineguns, and killed a number of ISIS terrorists in intensive airstrikes against their gatherings and positions in the villages of Jib Aeid and al-Maksar al-Janoubi and its surroundings and in the eastern countryside of Salamiyeh.
Later, units of army established control over the villages of al-Bashir, al-Jarf al-Janoubi, al-Jarf al-Shimali and al-Wastani near Jub al-Jarah in Homs eastern countryside.

Al-Nusra leader al-Julani critically injured, 60 terrorists killed in Russian airstrike in Idleb

More than 60 Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists, among them field commanders of the terrorist organization, were killed in an airstrike by Russia’s Aerospace Forces against one of their hideouts in Idleb province, the Russian Defense Ministry said.
The Ministry’s spokesman Maj. Gen. Igor Konashenkov said Wednesday in a statement that the Russian Aerospace Forces targeted on Tuesday a meeting of Jabhat al-Nusra leaders, killing 12 field commanders of the terrorist group, among them assistant of al-Nusra leader and 50 other terrorists.
“As a result of the strike, Jabhat al-Nusra leader Abu Mohammad al-Julani received multiple heavy fragmentation wounds and, having lost his hand, is in critical condition, in addition to the injury of 9 others,” according to Konashenkov.
Russia participated since September 2015 in the war against terrorism in Syria upon the request of the Syrian Arab Republic, as it killed hundreds of terrorists and backed the Syrian Arab Army in establishing control over many villages, town and areas across the country.
One woman killed, four injured in terrorist attack with shells in Deir Ezzor

A woman was killed and all of her family members were injured when ISIS terrorist organization targeted with rocket shells al-Villat neighborhood in Deir Ezzor.
SANA’s reporter in Deir Ezzor said that ISIS terrorists on Wednesday fired several rocket shells on al-Villat residential neighborhood in Deir Ezzor, one of which hit a house, killing one woman and injuring her husband and her three children, in addition to causing material damage to public and private properties.

An agreement signed by guarantor states in Astana in September has promoted intensifying humanitarian aid to people in de-escalation zones and outside them as well.
Over the last 24 hours, the Russian Centre for reconciliation of opposing sides has conducted two humanitarian actions:
citizens of Humaymah al-Kabirah (Aleppo province) received about 3 tons of food supplies;
citizens of al Haysah (Homs province) received 2 tons of food supplies.
Destroyed infrastructure is being recovered in Syrian cities.
In the city of Muadamiyat al-Sham (Damascus province) a secondary school has been redecorated for 400 pupils. Now, the children are enjoying cosy and light-filled classrooms.
In the settlement of Jaba (al-Qunaitra Province) 2.5 km section of road is being restored.
