Army establishes control over al-Deilaa oil field in southwestern countryside of Raqqa, kills scores of ISIS in Deir Ezzor

Army units reestablished control over al-Deilaa oil field in the southwestern countryside of Raqqa after eliminating the remaining gatherings of ISIS terrorists in it.
A military source told SANA that army units restored al-Deilaa oil field in the course of its continued operations against ISIS.
The source added that a number of ISIS terrorists were killed due to the operations in the area, in addition to the destruction of three car bombs.
An army unit destroyed a 33-meter-long tunnel for ISIS and a site consists of 4 floors where the terrorists are hiding in al-Jabieleh neighborhood.
Earlier, the Air Force and Artillery of the Syrian army launched during the past 24 hours intensive strikes against gatherings and movement axes of ISIS terrorist organization in the city of Deir Ezzor.
SANA reporter in Deir Ezzor said that the army directed artillery strikes in parallel with the air raids launched by Syrian warplanes on ISIS gatherings, fortifications and movement axes in the villages of Ayash, al-Jneina, al-Husseiniyeh, al-Tharda junction, al-Panorama, Huweijit Saqr and the 7 km area on the road of Hasaka-Deir Ezzor.
As a result of the army’s operations, a number of ISIS terrorists were killed, others were injured and their fortifications, weapons and ammunition were destroyed.
The reporter added that army units engaged in intermittent clashes with terrorist groups affiliated to ISIS in the area surrounding the Military Airport, al-Panorama and the cemeteries, inflicting terrorists’ heavy losses upon their ranks and equipment.
Local sources told SANA that the Saudi terrorists Abu Ayman al-Jazrawi, who is in charge of car bombs and explosives within ISIS, in the so called the “Wilayet al-Furat” was killed in al-Bokamal city.
The sources also confirmed the death of the citizen Saleh Maaser al-Najres when ISIS terrorists opened fire on him as he attempted to flee their area.
The source also said that a fight erupted among two of ISIS leaders, one of them is from Morocco and the other is from Kazakhstan, in Gharanij town in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, adding that the fight led to the injury of more than 5 terrorists.
Units of army established control over many strategic points to the south-western side of al-Sikhnih in Homs countryside.
The army’s operations against ISIS terrorists ended up with the killing of a large number of them and destroying their positions and weaponry.
Syrian Army Inches Closer to ISIL’s Last Stronghold en Route to Deir Ezzur
TEHRAN (FNA)- The Syrian Army troops continued to push ISIL back from more positions in Eastern Homs and deployed less than 10km away from the last bastion of the militants en route to Deir Ezzur, a field commander reported on Monday.
The commander in Eastern Homs Operation Room said that the army has increased its advances against ISIL towards the town of al-Sukhnah and managed to capture several more positions.
The commander said that the army men are less than 10km away from the town of al-Sukhnah that is considered as the last stronghold of ISIL in Eastern Homs and a gate to the Eastern city of Deir Ezzur.
In the meantime, the Syrian Air Force pounded ISIL’s positions in the depth of al-Sukhnah and Humeimeh al-Kadir to accelerated the ground forces’ advances in the region, inflicting major losses on the terrorists.
Relevant reports said on Sunday that the army soldiers engaged in fierce clashes with ISIL in Eastern Homs and captured several more positions in Arak and al-Heil oilfields.
In the meantime, the army aircraft and artillery units pounded ISIL’s defense lines in the region heavily, inflicting major losses on the terrorists.
ISIL’s Command Center in Deir Ezzur Destroyed in Syrian Armed Forces’ Attacks
TEHRAN (FNA)- The Syrian Army troops and the country’s Air Force targeted ISIL’s positions and movements in Deir Ezzur, destroying one of the main command centers of the terrorist group.
The army’s artillery units pounded ISIL’s concentration centers in Panorama base, the neighborhood of al-Hamidiyeh and the village of al-Baqaliyeh in the Western outskirts of Deir Ezzur, inflicting major losses on the terrorists.
In the meantime, the army aircraft launched heavy bombing on ISIL’s strongholds and movements in water resources hill, Panorama base, the two neighborhoods of al-Roshdiyeh and al-Kanamat, Tamin Brigade base and al-Maqaber (cemetery) region in the Southern outskirts of Deir Ezzur city, killing and wounding a large number of terrorists and destroying one of the main command centers of them in the village of al-Hassan in Western countryside of Deir Ezzur.
Relevant reports said on Sunday that the Russian and Syrian fighter jets carried out a fresh round of joint combat flights over ISIL’s positions and movements in Syria’s Badiyeh (desert), inflicting major losses on the terrorist group’s supply lines.
The warplanes launched repeated bombing strikes on ISIL’s concentration centers in Tamin Brigade base, Tal (hill) Aloush and al-Maqaber (cemetery) region in the Southern outskirts of Deir Ezzur city.
The fighter jets targeted ISIL’s movements in the villages and regions of al-Hassan, al-Janineh, Ayyash, al-Baqaliyeh, old airport, Fishery passageway, in the hills near the water resources, Panorama base and the two neighborhoods of al-Roshdiyeh and al-Kanamat.
Meantime, the Syrian Air Force pounded ISIL’s movements East of the town of Ithriya in Eastern Hama, in Humeimeh region East of al-Kadir in Eastern Homs, West of al-Fahdi power plant, in al-Ramaylan oilfield, Rajoum hill and South of al-Zamleh in Southern Raqqa.
Tens of ISIL terrorists were killed and their military and armored vehicles, artillery and command centers were destroyed in the air raids.
Syrian Army Captures Most Important Positions of Terrorists in Eastern Damascus
TEHRAN (FNA)- The Syrian Army troops continued their anti-terrorism operation in Eastern Ghouta and drove the Al-Nusra Front militants out of their most important strongholds in Ein Terma region.
The army forces engaged in clashes with the terrorists of Al-Nusra Front (also known as Fatah al-Sham Front or the Levant Liberation Board) in Eastern Damascus and managed to take control over several key buildings and positions in Ein Terma.
In the meantime, the Syrian Air Force bombed heavily the positions of Al-Nusra in Ein Terma.
A military source reported that the army soldiers managed to push Al-Nusra back from its key positions and imposed full control over the meat-packing company and its nearby buildings, killing several militants.
A military source said on Sunday that the army relocated a large number of soldiers from de-escalation zones in Southern Syria to the battlefronts in Ein Terma and Jobar.
The source further said that the first convoy of fresh forces, including several tanks and missile launchers left de-escalation zones for Eastern Ghouta, adding that more military columns will be dispatched to Eastern Damascus in the coming days.
The source went on to say that tough battle was underway between the army soldiers and terrorists in Ein Terma and Jobar, adding that the army will intensify its attack after arrival of fresh forces.
Jeish Al-Islam Terrorist Group Declares Breakup in Eastern Damascus
TEHRAN (FNA)- Jeish al-Islam, in a statement on Monday, announced its breakup in Eastern Ghouta after the terrorist group’s recent defeats in the battle against the Syrian Army troops in a bid to form a new group in alliance with other militants in the region.
Jeish al-Islam’s statement said that the terrorist group agrees with the proposal of the Military Council of the Militants in Damascus province for a merger of all militant groups to create a united front to be capable of slowing down the rapid advances of the army troops in the region.
Jeish al-Islam’s Spokesman Hamzeh Beiraqdar said in the statement that his forces are ready to cooperate with the proposal that will end crisis among Jeish al-Islam, Faylaq al-Rahman and Al-Nusra Front (also known as Fatah al-Sham Front or the Levant Liberation Board).
Local sources in Eastern Ghouta reported earlier this month that Jeish al-Islam and Tahrir al-Sham Hay’at (the Levant Liberation Board) engaged in a fresh round of clashes that left nearly 30 militants dead or wounded.
The sources said that 20 fighters of Jeish al-Islam and 9 members of Tahrir al-Sham were killed or wounded in fresh clashes between rival terrorists in several fronts in the town of al-Ash’ari.
The sources added that Tahrir al-Sham managed to impose control over five farms from the direction of Beit Sawa.
Syrian Army Imposes Control over Several Energy Fields in Southern Raqqa
TEHRAN (FNA)- The Syrian Army troops continued their advances against ISIL terrorists in Southern Raqqa and managed to capture several villages and oilfields in the depth of Badiyeh (desert).
The army units engaged in tough battle with ISIL in Southern Raqqa and managed to capture the village of al-Zamleh al-Sharqi, al-Zamleh pumping station, al-Zamleh gas field, Khala’a gas field and al-Fahd oilfield in the depth of Badiyeh.
The army men killed tens of terrorists and destroyed two tanks, a bomb-laden vehicle and four more military vehicles.
Relevant reports said on Saturday that the army’s elite forces, backed up by the country’s Air Force, drove ISIL out of the regions of Ba’ar al-Ataw, Ba’ar al-Zanati and Ba’ar al-Houran in Southwestern Raqqa and engaged in fierce clashes with terrorists South of the town of al-Rasafeh.
The elite forces pushed the militants back from Haqal Kadi South of Ba’ar al-Zanati and Kirbat al-Haloul East of Haqal al-Kadir.
Meantime, the army aircraft pounded ISIL’s positions in al-Shajiri and its surrounding areas, South of Khirbet al-Haloul, al-Zamleh and its Southern part in Western and Southwestern Raqqa, destroying several military vehicles.
Some of the media sources said that after the recent advances, the army soldiers entered Homs via the Raqqa border, adding that if the pro-government forces seize 70km of Raqqa’s borders with Homs towards the South upto al-Heil energy field, they will be able to lay siege on ISIL terrorists in a region as large as 11,000sq/km of area in the provinces of Homs, Hama and Raqqa.
Turkey-Backed Militants, Kurdish Fighters Exchange Heavy Fire in Northern Syria
TEHRAN (FNA)- The militant groups, affiliated to the Turkish Army, and the Kurdish fighters exchanged artillery fire in Northern Aleppo.
The Ankara-backed militants’ mortar and missile units opened heavy fire at the positions of the Kurdish combatants in the village of Ein Daqnah in Shahba region.
The Kurdish fighters’ artillery and missile units further carried out retaliatory attacks and pounded the militants’ strongholds in the town of Azaz and several villages near the town.
According to field reports, the militants managed to prevail over the Kurdish forces’ defense lines and captured one of their positions.
Relevant reports said on Saturday that the Ankara-backed militants launched artillery attacks on the villages of Mar’anaz and al-Bilouniyeh in Shara region from their positions East of the town of Azaz.
The Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG) forces opened retaliatory fire at the positions of the Turkey-back militants that caused heavy fighting between them.
According to dispatches, three Ankara-backed militants were killed and four others were injured in the clashes.
Field sources said that artillery units of the Turkish Army and its affiliated militants shelled the villages and towns of Tal Rifat, Sheikh Issa, Qarnateh, Haliseh, Hiseh, Qol Sarouj, Tal Jihan, Jal Madhiq, Tal al-Anab, al-Nayereh and Ein Daqneh in al-Shahba.
The sources added that the predominately Kurdish Syrian Democratic Forces opened heavy artillery and mortar fire at the Ankara-backed militants’ defense lines in the village of Tawis and the town of Mare’a in response to their artillery attacks, inflicting major losses on the Turkey-backed militants.
