Two civilians injured in Terrorist roadside bombs blasts in Sweida countryside

Two civilians were injured in terrorist attacks with three explosive devices in the northwestern countryside of the southern Sweida province Monday.

A source at Sweida Police Command told SANA that terrorists detonated three roadside bombs they had earlier planted on the sides of the old “al-Haj” road between Uraiqa and Remet al-Lahef towns in Al-Lajat area while a car was passing.

The blast left two civilians injured in addition to material damage at the passing car, according to the source.

A similar terrorist attack on July 23rd left two civilians killed as an explosive device blast targeted al- Shaqqa-al-Bouthaina road in the northeastern countryside of the southern Sweida province.


War correspondent of the Lebanese Resistance killed in Aleppo

War correspondent of the Lebanese Resistance Mohammad Mahmud Nazar was killed while covering the military operations against the Takfiri terrorism in the southern countryside of the northern Aleppo province.

Field sources in Aleppo countryside told SANA that the late Nazar was killed on Sunday while performing his duty in covering the advances of the Syrian Arab Army and the Lebanese Resistance in the southern countryside of the province.

Martyr Nazar was born in 1987 in Arabsalim in Lebanon, and he played an effective role in covering the operations of the Lebanese Resistance against the Israeli Aggression on Lebanon in 2006. He was one of the first participants in covering the battels of the Syrian Arab Army and the Resistance against the terrorist organizations in Syria.

Russian Airstrikes Hit Terrorists’ Positions on Lebanon-Syria Border

TEHRAN (FNA)- The Russian helicopters heavily bombed terrorists’ positions in the rugged areas of Qara in Syria and the area separating the Lebanese border town of Al-Qaa from Syrian territories where ISIL and al-Nusra Front terrorists are stationed.

Three Russian helicopters flew over Lebanon’s Northern border with Syria on Sunday.

The National News Agency said that residents of the Wadi Khaled area of Akkar spotted three Russian helicopters hovering over the border around 3:30 pm.

The Russian airstrikes bombed terrorists’ positions in the rugged areas of Qara in Syria’s Qalamoun and the area separating the Lebanese border town of Al-Qaa from the Syrian territories.

The NNA also said the sound of strong explosions reverberated across the northern Bekaa, noting that they were the result of Russian airstrikes.

Russia has been conducting precision airstrikes against terrorist positions in Syria at the request of Syrian President Bashar Assad since September 30.

Syrian Forces Win Back Two More Villages in Lattakia with Russian Aerial Back Up

TEHRAN (FNA)- The Syrian Army and National Defense Forces (NDF), backed up by the Russian warplanes, regained two strategic villages in the Northeastern part of Lattakia province on Monday after inflicting heavy death toll on the militant groups.

The militant position near the villages of al-Dughmishlyia and Beit Ayyash were heavily bombed by the Russian fighter jets and choppers since this morning, which pave the groups for the army and NDF to push back the terrorists and regain control over the villages.

A large number of the militants were killed or wounded in the fighting areas and the terrorist groups retreat the remaining of their forces to evade more casualties.

Sources said earlier today that the Syrian Army and popular forces continued to push back the terrorist groups from the Northern parts of Lattakia and entered the strategic village of Deir Hanna.

The pro-government forces, after fierce clashes with the militant groups and breaking through their defense lines this morning, entered Deir Hanna.

The militant groups reportedly suffered heavy death toll in the Syrian forces’ operation and retreated the remaining of forces from the battlefront.

In the meantime, a wide-scale assault of the Takfiri terrorists on the government forces’ positions near Ghamam town in Lattakia province was repelled by the Syrian soldiers, in which tens of the militants were killed or wounded.

Army tightened noose around the terrorists in different areas across the country, establishing control over more villages, destroying their gatherings, hideouts, weapons and equipment, killing scores of them.


A unit of the army and armed forces blew up a tunnel for terrorist organizations and kills six terrorists in Talbeeseh in the northern countryside of Homs.

Earlier, the Syrian army air force destroyed the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) terrorists’ gatherings and movement axes in the village of Hawarin, Housh Abu Faraj, Meheen town and its surroundings and at al-Mustaoda’at area in the countryside of Homs central province.

A military source told SANA Monday, that the ISIS terrorist organization received huge losses in personnel due to the army operations, and their depots, weapons, ammunition and machinegun-equipped vehicles were destroyed.

Army advances in several areas of Damascus Countryside

Army units concentrated its operations on the axis of Marj al-Sultan Military Airport inside Eastren al-Ghouta, establishing control over al-Rahba and the farms surrounding it in Damascus Countryside, according to sources on the ground.

The operations ended up with destroying fortified positions and dens of terrorist organizations and the killing of many of their members and injuring others in Marj al-Sultan village.

The sources also added that army units targeted dens of Jaish al-Islam in Douma area, destroying mortar launch-pad, weapons and ammunition in Alyia Farms and killing a number of terrorists in al-Hajaryia Farms and al- Quwatli Street in Douma city.

Khaled Ghazi, Younis Younis, Hisham al-Sofi, Samir al-Tabakh and Mohamed al-Habosh were identified among the dead terrorists.


Units of the army destroyed four mortar launch-pads for terrorist organizations in the Refugees Camp in Daraa al-Balad.

All members of a terrorist organization were killed and their car was destroyed to the south of Syriatel Building in the continued operations of the army against the supply routes of the terrorist organizations, in addition to destroying one of their dens to the east of the National Hospital in Daraa al-Balad area in the southern Daraa province.

Meanwhile, the Takfiri organization of Jabhat al-Nusra said on Twitter that it killed the Commander of the so-called “Shuhada al-Yarmouk Brigade”, terrorist Abu Ali al-Baridi through a suicide attack against one of the headquarters of the extremist organization.

The terrorist organizations acknowledged on their accounts on the social networking pages that the terrorists of the so-called “Shuhada al-Yarmouk Brigade” have killed about 50 leaders of Jabhat al-Nusra in a month and killed 300 of its members.

Army establishes control over more villages north of Lattakia

A military source announced Monday that the Army established control over the villages of Deir Hanna, al-Daghmashliyeh, Bait Aiyash and Medakhat Ghamam area in the northern countryside of the coastal Lattakia province after inflicting heavy losses upon the Takfiri terrorist organizations in personnel and equipment.

The source told SANA that the army units, in cooperation with the popular defense groups, aided by the Russian air force, continued advance in the northern countryside of the province and established control over those villages.

The army inflicted heavy losses upon terrorist organizations and destroyed their headquarters with all weapons and ammunition inside them, The source added.

Meanwhile, the Syrian army air force targeted terrorist organizations’ headquarters and movement axes in the villages and towns of al-Zweik and Rabiaa in the northeastern countryside of the province.

The army destroyed the terrorists’ headquarters and fortresses with all terrorists on board and all weapons and ammunition inside them.


In the northern province of Aleppo, the Syrian Army air force targeted Jabhat al-Nusra and other terrorist organizations’ gatherings and their supply and movements’ axes to the north of Pashkoi village and in al-Mansoura village in the northern amd western countryside of Aleppo province.

The army’s air raids destroyed hideouts, vehicles, weaponry and gatherings for ISIS terrorists in the villages of Akouleh, Aharbaa, Aran and Shamawiyeh in Aleppo eastern countryside.

A number of hotbeds , arms and ammunition for the terrorist organizations were destroyed in accurate Army units’ operations against their positions in the neighborhoods of al-Rashedeen1, al-Rashedeen4, Salah al-Deen and al-Ameriyeh, the military source affirmed.

Meanwhile, army units destroyed terrorists’ vehicles and killed who were on board in intensive operations on their gatherings in Kafr Hamra, Tal Msaibeen and al-Twaihna north of Aleppo city.

Elswhere, the army smashed other terrorists’ dens and destroyed their arms as a number of terrorists were killed in al-Mansoura and Kan al-Assal.

The army destroyed terrorists’ hotbeds and vehicles for the so called “al-Jabha al-Islamiya” and Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organizations to the west of al-Nairab city and Barqoum city , 27km south of Aleppo city.

In Aleppo eastern countryside, ISIS terrorists suffered heavy losses in army operations in Tal Istabel, Shweilekh and Najara.


Army units, in cooperation with popular defense groups, eliminated more than 50 terrorists during operations against their positions in the northern countryside of Hama.

Sources on the ground told SANA that an army unit destroyed fortified positions and a site belonging to “Jaish al-Fatah” terrorist organization during concentrated operations against their gatherings in Attshan village to the north of Hama city, which resulted in the killing of 10 terrorists, including Firas al-Saleh, who was a leader in Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organization.

In the northwest countryside of the province, the sources said that army’s strikes against the gatherings of Jabhat al-Nusra, “Jund al-Aqsa” and “Ahrar al-Sham Islamic Movement” resulted in killing 32 terrorists, including Ahmad Khaled al-Bakri, and destroying one of their positions, 2 armored vehicles, and 5 vehicles transporting weapons and ammunition.

Another army unit launched accurate strikes against the gatherings and fortified positions of the “Ajnad al-Sham” terrorist organization in Kafr Zita village northwest of Hama city, killing 9 terrorists including Ahmad al-Zalf, Mohamed al-Nakar and Ahmad Abad al-Aziz al-Mahmoud, while 5 others were injured.

Syrian Soldiers Take Captive Commander of Jeish Al-Fatah in Aleppo

TEHRAN (FNA)- The Saudi field commander of Jeish al-Fatah terrorist group was captured alive by the Syrian army troops in Aleppo province.

The Syrian army units captured the Jeish al-Fatah field commander Abdullah Mehesni during a special operation near the city of Aleppo.

An informed source revealed that Abdullah Mehesni, a Saudi citizen way up the chain of command of the Takfiri terorist group, was captured alive after the Syrian forces fired a missile at his car and as he was driving.

The Syrian army along with Hezbollah fighters and the National Defense Forces (NDF), and backed up by Syrian-Russian Air Forces, have been marching on militant group’s positions in Aleppo province in recent weeks.

According to the latest reports, government forces and their allies have gained back almost 410 square kilometers of Aleppo’s territories since the start of their massive operations early in October, killed hundreds of Takfiri terrorists and destroyed tens of militants’ strongholds and depots, a large number of military vehicles, weapons and military equipment.

Syrian Forces, Hezbollah Purge Aleppo Village of Terrorists

TEHRAN (FNA)- The Syrian army, the Lebanese Hezbollah fighters and the National Defense Forces liberated a key village in Aleppo province from terrorists’ control, completely securing the entire region surrounding the Kuweires military airbase.

The Syrian forces and Hezbollah fighters took full control over the village of Kaskays in the Eastern countryside of Aleppo.

Scores of Takfiri terrorists were killed in the military operation.

With the capture of Kaskays, the Syrian army has completely secured the Kuweires Military Airport, informed sources said.

On Sunday, Syrian Army and Hezbollah fighters pushed back ISIL terrorists from more territories in the Southern part of Kuweires airbase after fierce clashes with the militant group.

The pro-government forces’ operation in the Eastern countryside of Aleppo ended in recapture of Rasm al-Abboud village from the ISIL militants.

The ISIL terrorists suffered heavy death toll in the army attack.

Sources said on Saturday that the Syrian army alongside Hezbollah conducted mop-up operations against the ISIL militants in two areas near Kuweires airbase, inflicting heavy losses on them.

Sharba’a and al-Afash areas in the Eastern countryside of Aleppo were the scenes of heavy clashes after the Syrian army and Hezbollah launched their mop-up operations in the surroundings of the Kuweires airbase.

Many of the ISIL terrorists were killed in the pro-government forces’ operations and their military equipment was also destroyed.

Field sources said on Friday that the Syrian army and Hezbollah fighters were carrying out mop-up operations in the Eastern countryside of Aleppo, pushing back more ISIL terrorists from the strategic province.

The ISIL terrorists’ positions near the villages of Jib al-Safa, Ain al-Jamajma, Wadiaa, Um Arkila, al-Madyouneh, Tal Abu Danneh and al-Bab city in the Eastern and Northeastern countryside of Aleppo came under joint offensive of the Syrian army and Hezbollah fighters, sources said, and added that scores of the militants have been killed in the army attacks.

The Syrian army, popular forces and Hezbollah forces, backed up by Syrian and Russian air force, lifted the two and a half-year-long siege of Kuweires military airbase after killing hundreds of ISIL terrorists on Tuesday.

The Syrian troops and Hezbollah forces rolled into the Kuweires airport at the end of their daylong last phase of massive operations.

The Syrian army, the National Defense Forces (NDF) and Hezbollah combatants, backed up by Russian warplanes, launched the last round of their over one-month-long joint operations against the ISIL terrorists’ positions in Eastern Aleppo near the Kuweires airbase Tuesday morning, and won full control over the strategic Aleppo-Raqqa Highway.

The attack started from multiple directions and ended up in cleaning up several villages from ISIL. Hundreds of the ISIL militants were killed or wounded in the operations.

In the next stage, Syrian and Russian Air Forces massively targeted the last strongholds of the ISIL militants around the Kuweires airbase.

In addition to the Syrian and Russian airstrikes, the artillery and mortar units of the army also shelled the ISIL strongholds to weaken their defense lines as much as possible to lay the ground for the combatants of Hezbollah, the army soldiers and the National Defense Forces to launch the final phase of their joint operations to lift the siege on Kuweires airbase.

Intelligence sources said hundreds of ISIL militants were fleeing the Kuweires region to safer areas to save their lives after suffering heavy casualties in the joint massive attack of the Syrian Army and Hezbollah with the Russian air backup.

After cleaning the region, the pro-government troops had to defuse a minefield planted by the ISIL before they could reach the gates of airbase.

Hundreds of Syrian forces were under a tight siege at the airbase as a result of the occupation of vast areas surrounding the airport by the terrorists.

When under the siege, the Syrian army’s helicopters supplied foodstuff and other needs to the Syrian troops defending the airport.
