Russian air group in the Syrian Arab Republic continues strikes against ISIS infrastructures.

In the course of the last 24 hours, Russian military aircraft Su-34, Su-24M and Su-25SM have performed 55 combat sorties engaging 53 ISIS objects in the Homs, Hamah, Lattakia and Idlib provinces.

The means of space and air reconnaissance continue detection of new ISIS objects on the territory of the Syrian Arab Republic 24 hours a day for their further engagement by the Russian air group.

During all sorties, the Russian strike aviation is covered by Su-30 fighters.

As a result of a pinpoint strike of Su-24M bombers near Salma settlement (Lattakia province), fragmentation air bombs destroyed a large ISIS transfer point with underground facilities and ammunition depots detected by means of space reconnaissance.

Detonation of munitions caused large fire. The object was completely destroyed.

Su-34 bombers engaged a militants’ camp located near Al-Mastumah (Idlib province).

According to the reconnaissance data, the camp was used as a concentration point, where militants from different countries were trained. At the same camp, terrorists were taught special tactics and sapper skills under the leadership of experienced instructors.

Near Tal Sukeyk (to the north of Hamah), a Su-25 attack aircraft eliminated a column of automobile vehicles, which transported munitions and fuel to the ISIS terrorist positions in that area.

Three petrol tank vehicles escorted by two off-road vehicles with large caliber machine guns were destroyed.

In the recent days, terrorists are undertaking desperate attempts to ferry munitions, armament, fuel and equipment from the Raqqah province to the contact line with the Syrian Armed Forces.

Significant part of their armament, ammunitions, fuel for military vehicles is already eliminated by pinpoint strikes of the Russian aircraft.

In this area of the Hamah province, a Su-24M bomber destroyed an ISIS underground command centre with a KAB-500 guided air bomb. The precision strike eliminated all the engineer facilities of terrorists.

Near Tal Sukeyk (Hamah province), a Su-25 attack aircraft engaged a militants’ mobile mortar position detected by UAVs.

The pinpoint strike resulted in destruction of three off-road vehicles equipped with mortars and one lorry with munitions.

The attacks of the Russian air group carried out within the last 24 hours resulted in destruction of the following objects:

  • 25 fortified areas and defensive positions with armament and military equipment;
  • terrorist strong point near Salma settlement (Lattakia province);
  • 7 command centres of militants;
  • 6 terrorist field training camps;
  • 6 ammunition depots;
  • a column of automobile vehicles;
  • 3 underground shelters in the Lattakia province;
  • 1 mobile mortar group.

After the successful task performance, all the Russian aircraft have returned to the Hmeymim airbase.

According to the Treaty on Open Skies, the Russian specialists were to have carried out a scheduled observation flight on an An-30B aircraft over the territories of the Turkish Republic on October 12, using Eskisehir and Diyarbak?r airfields.

The Turkish colleagues have addressed with a request to the Russian Ministry of Defence to defer the flight to a later date in connection with the security operation.

Taking into account the current situation in the Turkish Republic and the official appeal of the Turkish colleagues, the Russian Ministry of Defence has decided to defer the flight within the Treaty on Open Skies to a later date.

Airstrikes against an ISIS training camp in the Idlib province.

The object was used as a big concentration point, where militants from different countries were trained. This is confirmed by radio interceptions, which registered talks among terrorists in several foreign languages.

The training base was detected by different means of reconnaissance. The facility had all the infrastructural elements necessary for housing and training of terrorists. There were hangars with military hardware, workshops for equipment of off-road vehicles with large caliber machine guns, depots for ammunition, armament and other equipment, park areas and zones for training of terrorists as well as dwelling facilities.

The pinpoint strike completely destroyed the large training centre of militants.

The Syrian Arab Army establishes control over areas in Hama, Lattakia, Aleppo

The General Command of the Army and Armed Forces announced in a statement on Monday that the Army and Armed Forces established control over the Free Zone in Aleppo and 13 towns and villages and one area in Hama and Lattakia provinces.

The statement said that the various divisions of the Army and Armed Forces, and under concentrated cover fire from the Air Force and artillery and missile units, army units made remarkable achievements in its operations in the northern countryside of Hama province.

The General Command said that the Armed Forces established control over the towns and villages of Kafar Nabouda, Atshan, Qubeibat, Maarakaba, Oum Harten, Sekik, Tal Sekik, Tal al-Sakher, and al-Bahsa in the northern countryside of Hama province.

The statement said that operations on both sides of the administrative line between Hama and Idleb provinces resulted in the elimination of many terrorists, the destruction of a number of armored vehicles and ammo depots in al-Tamane’a, Sekik, and Tal Sekik, in addition to five machinegun-equipped vehciles three US-made TOW missile launch pads in Oum Harten.

The General Command said that operations also resulted in destroying terrorists’ command centers and weapon and ammo depots in Ma’aret al-Nu’man, Saraqeb, Haish, Muhambel, Tal Tera’I, east and north of al-Tamane’a, west of Sekik, south of Khan Sheikhoun, al-Latamneh, and Habbit, and Kafar Nabouda, while 20 vehicles transporting terrorists, weapons, and munitions were destroyed and large amounts of terrorists’ weapons, equipment, and ammo were seized east of Tal Sekik.

In the northern countryside of Lattakia province, army units established control over the towns of Jub al-Ahmar and Kafar Delbe, in addition to Katef Jouret al-Batikh hills and Ruwaiset Khandaq Jamo, the statement said, adding that army units continued to advance and established control over the southeastern outskirts of Salma town.

The General Command said that the army also targeted command centers and concentrations of terrorists in Tal A’as, Ruwaiset al-Qubour, Sama and Melouhet Katef al-Ghadr in the countryside of Lattakia province.

The statement went on to say that army units established full control over the entirety of the Free Zone area in Aleppo province after inflicting heavy losses upon ISIS terrorists and directing concentrated strikes on terrorists’ concentrations in the surroundings of Kuwairis Airport, confirming that this resulted in destroying terrorists’ command centers, weapon and ammo depots, and vehicles equipped with weapons.

The General Command stated that the successes achieved since the beginning of the wide-scale ground operation conducted with air and artillery support have resulted in inflicting heavy losses upon terrorist organizations, causing their morale to collapse and prompting large numbers of them to flee towards Turkish borders.

Units of the army and the armed forces, backed by the Syrian army air force, on Monday carried out wide-scale military operations against the Takfiri terrorist organizations across the country, destroying their dens and positions and inflicting heavy losses upon them in the personnel and the equipment.

Damascus‬ Countryside

The Syrian Army Air Force destroyed terrorist organizations’ dens in Qalamoun area, Damascus countryside province, a military source told SANA.

‪‎Aleppo‬

The Syrian Army Air Force destroyed dens and vehicles of ISIS in Jabboul, Howejine, Alam hills, Sabe’en and al-Ne’am areas in the eastern countryside of the northern province of Aleppo.

Idleb‬

Field sources told SANA that a unit of the army destroyed a den of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in al-Mastouma village in the southern countryside of Idleb province, killing at least 18 terrorists who were inside the den.

The sources added that units of the army continued their military operations against dens and positions of the so-called “Jaish al-Fatih” terrorists in al-Taman’aa town.

‪‎Hama‬

A unit of the army also killed 5 terrorists and destroyed 3 of their vehicles with all arms and ammunition inside them near Kafr Zita town in the northern countryside of Hama province.

Units of the army are fighting in fierce battels against terrorist organizations in al-Maghir village and in the surroundings of Kafr Nabbouda town where the army has achieved notable advances reaching the southern roundabout in the town, after inflicting heavy losses upon terrorists in the personnel and the equipment.

Meanwhile, the death of a prominent self-claimed leader of the so-called “Jaish al-Fatih” terrorist Abdul-Hakim al-Asaad was confirmed.

Field sources said that disputes and clashes erupted between the Takfiri organizations due to the increased withdrawals of some of terrorist groups from al-Ghab plain where at least seven terrorists were killed.

Meanwhile, the Takfiri terrorist organizations acknowledged on their pages on the social networking websites that the self-claimed “military commander of the central division “terrorist Mohammad Ridwan al-Hussein and the self-claimed “deputy commander of the 60th infantry division” terrorist Mohammad Marwan al-Faraj were killed.

The Syrian Army Air Force also destroyed Terrorist organizations’ vehicles in Qleib al-Thawr and al-Sayyadh in the countryside of the province.

Homs

The Syrian army air force carried out raids on gatherings of ISIS terrorists in the vicinity of al-Shaer field, al-Maqale area in the countryside of Palmyra, the villages of Um Sahreij and al-Fao, and to the east of al-Jarah town , 73 km east of Homs city, according to a military source.

The strikes resulted in destroying vehicles and equipment for ISIS terrorist organization and killing a number of its members.

A number of ISIS terrorists were killed and injured and their arms and equipment were destroyed in army intensive strikes against their hotbeds in al-Hadath village south east of Homs city.

In the northern countryside of the province, army units destroyed two vehicles for Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organization and killed all the terrorists onboard in Talbeiseh as another army unit killed a number of terrorists in accurate operations against their dens and gatherings in Tal Abu al-Sanasel, al-Hilaiyeh, Aba al-Ghajar, al-Deek area towards Jaboureen and Um Sharshouh.

Russian Air Force destroys 53 targets for ISIS in several areas in Syria

Russia’s Air Force, in cooperation with the Syrian Air Force, carried out 55 sorties in the past 24 hours during which 53 targets for ISIS terrorist organization were destroyed in several provinces, according to a Syrian military source and the Russian Defense Ministry.

The Syrian military source said in a statement to SANA on Monday that the sorties resulted in destroying 25 fortified positions containing arms, munitions and a command center for terrorists in the surrounding of Salma town in Lattakia countryside.

Sorties also targeted seven command centers, six training camps, six ammunition depots, some vehicles and three fortified shelters for terrorists in the northern countryside of Lattakia.

A camp containing 1,200 terrorists near al- Mastumeh town was targeted in Idleb countryside.

In addition, a bomb shelter and a number of vehicles including fuel tanks, trailers, two jeeps equipped with heavy machineguns, and three vehicles loaded with ammunition were destroyed in the surrounding of Tal Skeik and Skeik town in the northern country side of Hama.

In turn, the Russian Defense Ministry said in statement published on its website that Su-34, Su-24M and Su-25SM Russian military aircrafts have performed 55 combat sorties engaging 53 ISIS targets in Homs, Hama, Lattakia and Idleb provinces.

Qamishli locals express appreciation of Russia’s support to Syria in combating terrorism

Representatives of popular and civil bodies in Qamishli City on Sunday organized a stand before the Arab Cultural Center under the title “A Salute to Russia and All Friendly Countries Supporting Syria in its War against Takfiri Terrorism.”

The activity was held in appreciation of the efforts exerted by the Russian Government and people to help Syria in its war against terrorism.

Participants in the event hailed the honorable stances of the friendly countries which have stood by the Syrian people throughout the unjust war which targeted Syria.

They affirmed their resilience and standing by the Syrian army and armed forces till defeating terrorism and expelling all terrorists from Syria.2

The participants also raised banners showing the honorable stances of Syria’s friends, and the correctness of Syria’s vision, the wisdom of its leadership, the steadfastness of its people and the victories of its courageous army.

Since September 30th, the Russian warplanes have been conducting daily airstrikes against positions of ISIS and other terrorist organizations in Syria.
