“Hell is closer to ISIS terrorists than Deir al-Zoor military airport. We are the men of god on the ground, and we will be victorious; whether others like that or didn’t.”

ISIS is pushing toward Deir al-Zoor military airport; yesterday, October 7, 2015 over 80 ISIS terrorists were killed while massively attacking Syrian Army positions in the city.

Russia’s operations contribute to preserving Syria’s territorial integrity
8 October، 2015
Moscow, SANA

Russia’s actions in Syria are intended to contribute to preserving the territorial and political integrity of Syria, Russian President’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov affirmed on Thursday.

SPUTNIK news agency quoted Peskov as saying to reporters that “Russia’s military operation in Syria contributes to greater stability and security in the region, which, in fact, is adjacent to Turkey’s borders.”

Peskov recalled that “before the operation by the Russian Armed Forces to support the Syrian Army,” the US-led coalition’s strikes in Syria has not a bit undermined ISIS, but on the contrary allowed the terrorist organization to expand its territory, which has destabilized the situation in the region.

Russian Defense Ministry: 22 sorties on 27 sites for terrorists in Homs, Hama, Raqqa and Lattakia countryside
8 October، 2015
Moscow, SANA

Russian Defense Ministry announced on Thursday that the Russian air force in Syria carried out 22 sorties during which it struck 27 sites for the terrorist organizations in Homs, Hama, Raqqa and Lattakia northern countryside.

“The Russian warplanes have completely destroyed 8 sites for the terrorist organizations in Homs,” Spokesperson of the Russian Defense Ministry Igor Konachenkov said in a statement aired by Russia Today website.

He added the Russian warplanes struck 11 regions where the terrorist organization of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) holds training camps in Hama and Raqqa.

“The accurate shelling with bombs that penetrate reinforced concrete led to the destruction of dens of terrorists in Salma and Arafeet regions to the north-east of Lattakia,” Konachenkov said.

He described allegations of some foreign defense ministries on the ineffectiveness of the Russian raids as “baseless.”

General Konachenkov wondered “what was the result of shelling ISIS sites, since more than a year by those who criticize the Russian airstrikes,” nothing, but the expansion of ISIS over the lands it had seized in Syria and Iraq, he added.

Russian Airstrikes Destroy 40% of ISIL’s Infrastructure in Week

TEHRAN (FNA)- Around 40 percent of ISIL infrastructure in Syria has been destroyed since Russia began its military operation in the country, Syria’s Ambassador to Russia Riad Haddad said.

“According to our data, about 40 percent (was destroyed). In addition, a lot of terrorists have been killed. Now, they are retreating toward the Turkish border, as this country has traditionally provided them with protection,” Haddad said Wednesday, RIA Novosti reported.

Iran Rejects Russian Missile Crash

TEHRAN (FNA)- The Iranian defense ministry rejected reports alleging that four of the 26 cruise missiles fired from Russia’s Caspian fleet at ISIL targets in Syria have crash-landed in Iran, saying the reports are part of the West’s “psychological warfare”.

A source at the Iranian Defense Ministry told Sputnik that it has not received any report indicating the crash of the Russian missiles on Iranian territories, describing the allegations as “psychological war”.

Russia’s Defense Ministry also denied the US media reports of the alleged incident, stating that all missiles hit their designated targets.

“No matter how unpleasant and unexpected for our colleagues in the Pentagon and Langley was yesterday’s high-precision strike on Islamic State (of Iraq and the Levant) infrastructure in Syria, the fact remains that all missiles launched from our ships have found their targets,” ministry’s spokesman Maj. Gen. Igor Konashenkov said.

Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu announced on Wednesday that four Russian Navy warships had fired a total of 26 missiles at the positions of the ISIL terrorist group in Syria.

Earlier today, FNA released an amateur video showing the missiles fired from the Russian Navy warships in the Caspian Sea travelled through the sky of Iraq’s Kurdistan region before hitting their targets in Syria.

“Four missile ships in the Caspian Sea launched 26 cruise missiles at 11 targets. According to objective control data, all the targets were destroyed. No civilian objects sustained damage,” Shoigu said.

Earlier today, the CNN claimed that according to Pentagon officials, at least, four of the Russian cruise missiles have crash-landed in Iran.

The CNN report came after the Russian army announced that all the 26 missiles hit and completely destroyed their targets in the Syrian provinces of Raqqa, Idlib and Aleppo.

The missile attacks came from Russia’s fleet in the Caspian Sea, which borders Russia, Iran and three other littoral countries. The precision weapons reportedly hit all intended targets. The attacks apparently required cooperation from Iran and Iraq, as the missiles had to travel through their airspace to reach Syria.

The Russian Defense Ministry said it had worked with its partners to plan the flight path so that the missiles traveled only over desolate areas and didn’t pose any danger to civilians.

The missiles flew some 1,500 km before reaching their targets, proving their efficiency.

Four warships of the Caspian fleet were involved in the missile attacks, the Gepard-class frigate Dagestan and the Buyan-M-class corvettes Grad Sviyazhsk, Uglich and Veliky Ustyug. They fired cruise missiles from the Kalibr NK (Klub) VLS launchers. The missiles used are capable of hitting a target within 3 meters at a range of up to 2,500 km.
