Four civilians killed in twin terrorist bombings in Hasaka

Four civilians were killed and four others were injured in twin terrorist attacks with car bombs which took place on Monday at the southeastern outskirts of Ras al-Ayn city in the northern countryside of Hasaka province.
A source at the Hasaka Police Command told SANA’s correspondent that two suicide bombers detonated two car bombs, each rigged with large amounts of explosives, near Hamdo fuel station at the outskirts of Ras al-Ayn and the entrance of Mishrafa village southeast of the city.
The source said that the twin attacks claimed four lives and inflicted injuries of varying severity on four more civilians, in addition to causing massive damage to private properties.
Three killed in rocket attacks on Aleppo and Damascus

Two civilians were killed in a terrorist attack with rocket shells on al-Midan neighborhood in Aleppo city.
A source in the police command told SANA reporter that terrorists in Bustan al-Basha fired rocket shells which fell on houses and properties of locals, killing two civilians and injuring six others, some of them were severely injured and taken to al-Jamea’a and al-Razi hospitals.
The terrorist attack also caused material damage to houses and private and public properties.
14 civilians including seven children and 33 others were injured when terrorists fired rocket shells on al-Midan and al-Saed neighborhood in Aleppo city on Sunday.
A civilian killed in Damascus
A civilian was killed in a terrorist attack with a mortar shell which was fired by terrorists on al-Zablatani area in Damascus.
A source in the police command said in a statement to SANA reporter that a shell fired by terrorists fell in the surrounding of al-Hal market in al-Zablatani area killing a civilian and causing material damage to a number of cars.
The source added that the shell was launched by terrorists from the so-called Jaish al-Islam who fortify in Joubar neighborhood on the outskirts of Eastern Ghouta.
Six civilians were injured in mortar terrorist attacks on al-Tijara, al-Qusour and al-Qeimariya neighborhoods in Damascus last Friday.
Moscow condemns terrorist attack which targeted Russian Embassy in Damascus

Russian Foreign Ministry strongly condemned on Monday a terrorist attack which targeted the Russian Embassy in Damascus with mortar shells on Sunday.
“We strongly condemn the criminal shelling against the Russian diplomatic mission in Damascus,” the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement, adding “Moscow expects a clear stance by members of the international community, including regional sides, regarding this criminal act.”
It added the attack, with mortar shells, on the Embassy and other places has been launched from places where “gunmen” are positioned in Jobar neighborhood in Damascus, holding terrorism-foreign supporters responsible for this heinous act.
The attack didn’t cause any casualties or damage to the place.
Russian embassy in Damascus under mortar fire
MOSCOW, September 21. /TASS/. The Russian embassy in Damascus came under mortar fire on Sunday, September 20, the Russian Foreign Ministry said Monday.
The ministry said Moscow condemns the “criminal attack” on the Russian diplomatic mission.
“At 09:00 a.m. on September 20, a mortar shell hit the territory of the Russian embassy in Damascus. The shell was driven deep into the earth and made no damage,” the ministry said. “A large labelled fragment of the shell was later extracted from the earth by Syrian mine clearance specialists. Efforts are now being taken to find out how this shell came across to militants.”
“We condemn the criminal attack on the Russian diplomatic representation in Damascus,” the ministry stressed. “We expect a clear position over this terrorist attack from all members of the international community, including regional parties.”
“But not mere words but concrete actions are actually needed,” the Russian foreign ministry said. “The mortar shell was fired at the Russian embassy from the Jobar district, a stronghold of anti-government gunmen. They claim they don’t belong to the Islamic State [a terrorist organization outlawed in Russia – TASS], but have foreign sponsors who bear responsibility to exert influence on illegal armed groups.”
Army establishes control over blocks in Daraa, kills 24 terrorists in Lattakia

The army and armed forces made new achievements in combating terrorism all over the country by establishing control over new area, killing terrorists and destroying their hideouts, ammunition, and vehicles.
An army unit established control over ten blocks of buildings in al-Manshiya neighborhood in Daraa al- Balad area in the southern Daraa province after killing many terrorists, most of them from Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organization, inside them, a military source told SANA on Monday.
The army operation resulted in dismantling a number of explosive devices and bombs planted by the terrorists to prevent the army from progressing.
An army unit targeted terrorist organizations’ hotbeds in al-Abasiya neighborhood, al-Nazeheen camp , and in the surroundings of Bilal al-Habashi Mosque and the Post building in Daraa al-Balad area, destroying ammunition and arms depot, three vehicles loaded with heavy machineguns and a vehicle loaded with ammunition in addition to killing and injuring numbers of terrorists.
A number of terrorists were killed in an army unit’s operation and their vehicle was destroyed in Tal Antar, located on the triangle of Deir al-Adas, Kafr Nasej and Kafr Shams.
Another army unit killed numbers of terrorists and destroyed one of their supply routes coming from the Jordanian territories near the bridge of Saida village.
Meanwhile, the terrorist organizations admitted on their social media Webpages that heavy losses were inflicted upon them in equipment and a number of their members were killed.
In the neighboring province of Quneitra, an army unit killed a number of terrorists from Jabhat al-Nusra and other terrorist organizations in intensive strikes on their movements’ axis in al-Hamidiyeh village in the countryside of Quneitra province, the military source said.
The army strikes resulted in destroying a vehicle equipped with machinegun for the terrorists and amounts of their arms and ammunition.
An army unit killed all members of an armed terrorist group and seized their weapons in Jroud Talfita in Qalamoun area, Damascus countryside.
24 terrorists killed
In the coastal province of Lattakia, army units killed 24 terrorists and destroyed their arms and ammunition Monday after observing their movements and hotbeds in al-Shahrora village and in the vicinity of the police station of Zahia village in the northern countryside of the province, a military source told SANA.
Meanwhile, field sources asserted that an army unit tightened noose on terrorists who were holding up in al-Hayat village affiliated to Rabea’a Township and destroyed their supply routes.
Syrian Troops Eradicate Terrorist Group in Qalamoun
TEHRAN (FNA)- The Syrian army troops on Monday killed all members of a terrorist group in Qalamoun in Damascus countryside.
The army killed all members of a terrorist group, and seized their weapons in Jroud Talfita in Qalamoun.
Syria has been grappling with a deadly crisis since March 2011. The violence fuelled by Takfiri groups has so far claimed the lives of over 240,000 people, according to reports.
Terrorist Ringleaders Killed in Army Attacks
TEHRAN (FNA)- The terrorist organizations suffered more casualties, including within their leaders’ ranks, in Syrian army operations that targeted their hideouts and positions on Sunday.
An army unit destroyed a hideout used by the leaders of terrorist groups in al-Nueimeh town in the Eastern countryside of the Southern province of Daraa.
A military source said on Sunday that a number of leaders were killed or injured and the weapons and ammunition inside the hideout were destroyed.
In Jaidour Houran area, which is a major supply route for the terrorists across to the Israeli entity, the army operations inflicted heavy losses upon Jabhat al-Nusra-linked terrorist groups in Zimrin and Simlin villages.
Also in neighboring Quneitra province, an army unit targeted terrorists’ movements South of the strategic Mas’hara hill on the road adjacent to Nabe’ al-Sakhr village in the Southern Quneitra province.
A number of terrorists, most of them from Jabhat al-Nusra, were killed in the operation and their arms and ammunition were destroyed.
Also in the past 24 hours, army units targeted terrorists’ gatherings on the Western edge of the Eastern al-Ghouta in Damascus Countryside, killing scores of terrorists and destroying their weapons and ammunition.
The army also established control over al-Kassarat area in Haratsa, near Damascus-Homs international highway.
Army units targeted hideouts for ISIL terrorists in al-Hweiqa, killing a number of them and destroying their weaponry.
Also in Hasaka, an explosive device went off amid a gathering of ISIL terrorists in al-Silaliyeh village to the East of Hasaka city, leaving a number of the terrorists dead.
A unit of the army carried out an accurate operation against gatherings and axes of movements of ISIL terrorists in the area surrounding Shaer Mountain in the eastern countryside of Homs.
A military source said in a statement that a unit of army killed terrorists from ISIL organization and destroyed their vehicles and munitions in accurate operations against their gatherings North of Shaer Mountain to the Northwest of Palmyra in the Eastern countryside of Homs and in al-Sukhna, Jazal and al-Qaryatin.
The army also foiled terrorists’ attempt to infiltrate Jub al-Jarrah in the Eastern countryside and killed and injured the majority of the assailants.
Army units targeted terrorists’ hideouts and gatherings in Talbeseh, al-Sultanyeh, al-Firhanyeh and Umm Sharshouh, killing scores of terrorists and destroying their weaponry and munitions.
Also in the past 24 hours, army air force destroyed terrorists’ hideouts and concentrations in Binnesh, al-Swaghyeh, Ram Hamdan, Taftanaz, Freikeh, Maarat al-Numan, Khan Sheikhoun and near Kifrya and al-Fu’a in Idlib province.
Also in Hama, army units killed and injured scores of terrorists in al-Latamina, al-Zyara and al-Mansoura in Hama countryside.
The army also targeted terrorists’ concentrations in al-Salamyeh and killed and injured scores of terrorists.
Also on Sunday, army air force killed a number of terrorists and destroyed their vehicles in the areas of Salma, Qarfous and Jub al-Ahmar in Lattakia’s Northern countryside.
