Sweida locals organize national meeting to express their unity against terrorists

Dignitaries of Sweida province organized Tuesday national meeting in which they called for facing the risks that threaten the stability and security of the city and to adhere to the national unity.

Participants in the meeting agreed on forming committees from various families in the province to protect the public utility and the private property in coordination with the competent authorities and preventing the abusers conspirators from tampering them.

Sheikh Aql of Muslim Muwahideen Youssef Jarbou’ called on the Syrians to exert their efforts to confront the conspiracy that targets in the interest of the Zionist entity.

Former People’s assembly member, Abdullah al-Attrash asserted that what has happened the province during the past period was an attempt to weaken the province’s locals and unity.

Al-Husseinieh residents return to their homes

Hundreds of families on Tuesday returned to their homes in al-Husseinieh town in Damascus southern countryside after they were forced out of it by terrorists for over three years.

The return marks the last and third stage of the town’s return program which began on August 16th when the families of martyrs returned as a first stage, followed by the return of the employees and their families as a second phase on August 26th.

Jamal al-Sekhneh, Head of services’ committee in al-Husseinieh told SANA that a total of 200 families entered the town today and about 3 thousand families were registered to return to their homes, affirming that 200 families will return daily to their houses after completing the registration measurements.

The administrative cadres at schools, he added, began their works and 1700 male and female students from the basic education stage students were registered to join schools at the due time.

24 terrorists killed in Lattakia countryside

At least 24 terrorists were killed Tuesday in an army operation in the countryside of the coastal province of Lattakia.

Field sources told SANA that 24 terrorists were killed and a terrorist organizations’ weapon cache was destroyed in a military operation at al-Kabir village in the countryside of Lattakia coastal province.

Army forces defending Abu al-Duhour airport repel infiltrating terrorists
Idleb‬, SANA

The army forces defending Abu al- Duhour Military Airport repelled terrorists from the so-called “Jaish al-Fateh” who infiltrated into the surroundings of the airport, which is located 50 km south east of Idleb city.

A military source told SANA that the terrorists infiltrated from the eastern side of the airport, but were confronted by the army units that inflicted heavy losses upon them.

The source explained that the army units destroyed a car bomb which the terrorists used in their attack attempt before it managed to reach the airport’s entrance, adding that fierce clashes erupted there, that ended up in many deaths in the
terrorists’ ranks.

Army and Lebanese Resistance establish control over al-Mas district in al-Zabadani

Army units, in cooperation with the Lebanese Resistance, established control over al-Mas district in al- Zabadani city, making new advance in terms of tightening the noose around the remaining terrorists in central al-Zabadani, located to the northwest of Damascus.

A military source told SANA that the terrorist organizations lost all of their positions to the last one in the district, noting that a facility for making explosive devices was found during the combing operations.

The army continued to launch wide-scale operations against the terrorist organizations’ hotbeds, positions and hideouts across the country, killing scores of their members and injuring others.

Al-Zabadani, Damascus Countryside

Army units, in cooperation with the Lebanese Resistance, established control over al-Mas district in al-Zabadani city, making new advance in terms of tightening the noose around the remaining terrorists in central al-Zabadani, located to the northwest of Damascus.

Aleppo

An army unit killed numbers of ISIS terrorists and destroyed their vehicles in Arbid village and the vicinity of the Academy Air Force in Aleppo province.

Another army unit targeted terrorist organizations’ hideouts and gatherings, killing a number of their members and injuring others in Kfr Hamra village in the northwestern countryside of Aleppo province.

The army targeted terrorists’ hotbeds in the neighborhoods of al-Jadeeda, al-Rashedeen4, al-Lairamoun, Beni Zeid, al-Ramousah,al-Saleheen and al-Halak in Aleppo city, killing a number of terrorists and destroying their arms and ammunition.

Lattakia – 24 terrorists killed, 36 injured

At least 24 terrorists were killed in an army operation in the countryside of the coastal province of Lattakia.

Field sources told SANA that 24 terrorists were killed and a terrorist organizations’ weapon cache was destroyed in a special military operation at al-Kabir village in the countryside of Lattakia coastal province.

Other 36 terrorists were injured during the operation, the source added, pointing out that Army strikes destroyed a training camp of terrorists that come from Turkmenistan, a weapon cache, a communication station and a big number of vehicles inside of it.

Sweida

In the southern Sweida province, an army unit foiled an armed terrorist group’s attempt to infiltrate into Tal Thalfaa area in the northwestern countryside.

The source added that the army unit clashed with the armed terrorist group, killing scores of its members, while the rest fled.

On Monday , a unit of the army and armed forces killed scores of Islamic State in Iraq and Syria “ISIS” terrorists at the northeastern countryside of Sweida province Monday.

Homs

Army units killed a number of terrorists and destroyed their vehicles during an intensive operation targeting their dens and gatherings in Tal al-Dabboor and al-Ghajar village to the south of Homs city.

An army unit targeted terrorists’ gatherings to the east of Kisin village, killing many of them and destroying their weapons and ammunition, while another army unit killed members of terrorist group along with their leader and destroyed their weaponry and ammo in Hosh Hajo village to the east of Talbeiseh area.

Terrorist organizations acknowledged on their social media pages the death of many of their members in Hosh Hajo village, including Ahmad Ghazi al-Hadhoud and Mohamed Abad Kalila.

Army gains more ground in al-Zabadani, continues to battle terrorists all across Syria

Tens of terrorists, more than 40 of them, were killed on Monday as the army units carried out intensive operations against their positions and hideouts, backed up by the army’s air force.

Idleb

The army’s air force carried out airstrikes against hideouts and vehicles of the so-called Jaish al-Fateh terrorists in a number of villages in Ariha area in the southern countryside of the northern Idleb province.

A military source told SANA that the airstrikes took place in the villages of al-Mozarah, Arnabeh, Bailoun and Marata, stressing that the terrorists there suffered heavy losses.

Meanwhile, field sources told SANA that 40 terrorists from Jaish al-Fateh were killed during army operations that targeted their hideouts near al-Shami Hospital in central Ariha.

Aleppo

Army units clashed with ISIS terrorists near the air force academy in Aleppo countryside, killing and injuring scores of them and destroying their weapons and a number of machinegun-equipped vehicles.

Lattakia

In the neighboring Lattakia province, 11 terrorists, including 3 Turks, were killed and 5 armored vehicles were
destroyed during army operations in Wadi Basour village in the northern countryside.

Homs

Army units killed a number of ISIS terrorists and injured others near Jazal oil field, 15 kilometers to the west of Palmyra city during the past 24 hours.

Field sources told SANA reporter that army units clashed with ISIS terrorists who infiltrated towards Jazal oil field.

The clashes resulted in deaths and injuries in the ranks of the terrorist organization, while the others fled towards the Syrian desert(Badiya).

Army units clashed with terrorists of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) in the surroundings of al-Bayarat area, 10 km to the west of Palmyra city in the central Homs province.

11 terrorists were killed in the clashes, in addition to seizing amounts of weapons and ammunition.

Daraa

In the southern region, an army unit killed a number of terrorists and destroyed their weapons and ammunition during army operations in the northern hill of Zamrin village, 60 km north of Daraa city.

Another army unit carried out an “accurate” operation in which it targeted terrorists’ positions to the south of Zenobia School in the neighborhood of Daraa al-Balad in Daraa city, killing and injuring a number of them.

Sweida

In the neighboring province of Sweida, a unit of the army and armed forces killed scores of Islamic State in Iraq and Syria “ISIS” terrorists at the northeastern countryside of Sweida province Monday.

An army unit killed and injured scores of ISIS terrorists, destroyed their hideouts, weapons and ammunition at Tal and Kherbet Sa’ad in the northeastern countryside of the province, according to the military source.

Two days ago, an army unit, in cooperation with public defense forces killed a number of ISIS terrorists at the surroundings of Sa’ad village.

Damascus Countryside

Army units in cooperation with the Lebanese Resistance continue to gain more ground in the battle against terrorist organizations in al-Zabadani city.

Field sources told SANA that army units carried out an accurate operation during which they established control over the building of the Commercial Bank and a number of building blocks in al-Mahatta neighborhood in the eastern part of al-Zabadani city.

The operation resulted in killing a number of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists and the so-called Ahrar al-Sham movement.

This comes 24 hours after establishing control over al-Seilan roundabout, the bus station and a number of building blocks to the south east of the city.

Elsewhere in the province, an army unit destroyed a factory where rocket and mortar shells are being made by terrorists in Deir al-Assafeir in eastern al-Ghouta of Damascus countryside.

Field sources told SANA that the army unit killed many terrorists inside the factory, among them were Mahdi al-Najar, Firas al-Itouni, Mohsen al-Kiswani and Samer al-Bakar.

In Harasta, anther army unit eliminated terrorists who were positioned in al-Ajami neighborhood, among them were Sudanese Make’e Moheb Allah, Jordanian Abdul-Rahman al-Sakal and Palestinian Suleiman Dabbour.

Meanwhile, the army’s operations in Alya farms in Douma ended up with the killing of terrorists Mohammad al-Fostoki, and Safi Aybour and the destruction of several weapons.

In western al-Ghouta, the army established control over three buildings in al-Jamiat neighborhood in Daraya city after eliminating all terrorists who were inside.

An army unit also targeted hideouts of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in Beit Jin town in the countryside of Damascus, leaving a number of terrorists dead or injured.

Takfiris’ Morale at Lowest Level as Hezbollah, Syrian Army Advance in Zabadani

TEHRAN (FNA)- The morale of the Takfiri militants in Zabadani is low in the wake of fresh gains made by Hezbollah and the Syrian army in the Southwestern city.

In an audio recording, two of the militants said that the number of the injured militants in Zabadani is between 180 and 190, Al-Manar reported.

“The morale of the fighters here is zero. There are 180 to 190 fighters who are injured,” one of the militants said.

Another militant said, “I swear we are not afraid that they (the injured militants) may be killed. We are afraid that they may be captured.”

Meanwhile, the Syrian army and the Lebanese resistance forces advanced further in Eastern Zabadani.

Hezbollah’s Military Media reported that the allied forces seized al-Mahattat neighborhood and the commercial bank in the East of Zabadani.

The Syrian army and Hezbollah have been since July 4 engaged in the battle of Zabadani, the last city under the control of terrorists in the Qalamoun region on the Lebanese border.

The ongoing battle is part of a wider operation launched by the Syrian forces and the resistance movement’s fighters on May 4, which has reportedly driven militants out of more than 90 percent of the territory in the mountainous region.

Syrian Army, Hezbollah Inch Closer to Complete Control over Zabadani Region

TEHRAN (FNA)- Military sources said that the Syrian Armed Forces alongside the Lebanese Hezbollah Resistance Movement are pushing back the rebel groups from entire neighborhoods and districts in Zabadani region.

The sources said that the Syrian Army’s 63rd Brigade of the 4th Mechanized Division, Hezbollah, the National Defense Forces (NDF), and the Syrian Social Nationalist Party (SSNP) have continued their advance in various parts of Zabadani region, capturing more building blocks and militant hideouts that the rebel forces are clinging to in order to bypass complete surrender.

On Monday morning, the Syrian Armed Forces and Lebanese Resistance stormed Harakat Ahrar Al-Sham and the Free Syrian Army’s (FSA) positions at the Zabadani Commercial Bank, where both parties engaged in a violent firefight for control of this large building that the rebel factions used to store supplies.

Following a volatile morning that was filled with significant bloodshed for all the parties involved, the Syrian Armed Forces and Lebanese Resistance finally imposed full control over the Zabadani Commercial Bank after the rebels of Harakat Ahrar Al-Sham and the FSA withdrew towards the downtown area in order to regroup.

The rebel factions are currently confined to a small patch of territory in Zabadani, as the Syrian Armed Forces and Lebanese Resistance continue to inch closer to the complete capture of this city in the Rif Dimashq’s Governorate’s Western flank.

According to a military source in Damascus, the rebels have been pushing for another ceasefire in Zabadani.

Syrian Army Wins Back New Area in Sweida

TEHRAN (FNA)- The Syrian army made new gains in Sweida after heavy clashes with the Takfiri terrorists and inflicting heavy losses on them.

The army units seized back Kherbet Sa’ad region in the Northeastern parts of the Sweida province after destroying the terrorists’ hideouts in the region, military sources said.

Tens of ISIL terrorists were killed and dozens more were injured in heavy clashes with the government forces.

Also in the past 24 hours, some 11 Takfiri militants were killed in the Syrian military operations in Lattakia province.

Eleven terrorists, including 3 Turks, were killed during the operations in Wadi Basour village in the Northern countryside of Lattakia. Five armored vehicles were also destroyed.

Meantime, the Syrian government forces conducted military operations in several areas across Daraa on Monday, inflicting heavy losses on the Takfiri militants.

The army killed a group of terrorists, and destroyed their weapons and ammunition in the Northern hill of Zamrin village, 60 km North of Daraa city.

The Syrian forces also targeted terrorists’ positions to the South of Zenobia School in the neighborhood of Daraa al-Balad in Daraa city, killing and injuring a large group of them.

Elsewhere, the Syrian army troops clashed with ISIL terrorists in the Central Province of Homs, leaving at least 11 Takfiri militants dead.

The army clashed with ISIL terrorists in the vicinity of al-Bayarat area, 10 km to the West of Palmyra city in Homs.

Some 11 terrorists were killed in the clashes. Militants’ weapons and ammunition were also destroyed.

Also, the Syrian forces gained the upper-hand against the Takfiri terrorists in Deir Ezzur in Eastern Syria by purging more militants from key regions in the Eastern province.

The Takfiri terrorists withdrew from al-Teem oil wells and other strategic areas in the Eastern parts of Deir Ezzur after facing the resistance of the Syrian forces comprising army, tribal and national defense forces.

The Syrian warplanes, meantime, hit the gathering centers of the ISIL militants in Havijeh Sakr district in the Southeastern parts of Deir Ezzur city.

Tens of ISIL terrorists were killed and dozens more were injured in heavy clashes with the government and popular forces.

Deir Ezzur is an oil-rich province and ISIL is in control of some regions in the Deir Ezzur city.

Meantime, the Syrian security forces targeted positions of terrorists from Jaish al-Fateh in the Northern Province of Idlib, killing 40 Takfiri militants on Monday.

Field sources said that the army targeted hideouts of terrorists from Jaish al-Fateh near al-Shami Hospital in Central Ariha in the Southern countryside of Idlib, killing 40 militants.

Meanwhile, the Syrian airstrikes hit hideouts and vehicles of terrorists of Jaish al-Fateh in the villages of al-Mozarah, Arnabeh, Bailoun and Marata in Ariha area, inflicting heavy losses on them.

Elsewhere, the Syrian army troops continued their mop-up operations against the foreign-backed Takfiri militants in Damascus countryside.

The army targeted hideouts of al-Nusra terrorists in Beit Jin town in the countryside of Damascus, leaving a group of terrorists dead and injured.

Informed sources announced that the commander of Ajnad al-Sham rebel group alongside over 12 militants were killed in the Syrian choppers’ operations in Darayya town in Damascus governorate.

The sources said that the Syrian fighter jets conducted a number of airstrikes over Darayya in the West Ghouta (collection of farms in the Damascus countryside), killing Ajnad Al-Sham’s commander of field operations in Southern Syria.

Ajnad Al-Sham commander Abu Al-‘Izz Saqr was killed alongside 12 of his armed combatants in Darayya after a Syrian Air Force Hind Helicopter attacked the aforementioned Islamist group’s compounds at the Southwestern sector of the town on Sunday morning.

The field reports also included the list of the 12 Ajnad Al-Sham combatants that were killed by the Syrian choppers on Sunday: Nizar Abu Al-‘Aadl, Ahmad Abu Raami, Abu Dhiyya Al-Bassam, Mohammad Abu ‘Antar, Ibrahim Abu Isma’eel, Ahmad Abu Saamer, Ibrahim Abu Suleiman, Zein Abu Bara’, ‘Umar Abu Yasseen, ‘Abdel-Rahman Abu Mohammad, Bassam Abu Asmar, and Anas Abu Ahmad.

Also, the Syria Army and the Lebanese Hezbollah Resistance Movement stormed the rebels’ gathering centers in the Southern areas of Zabadani and seized full control of the city’s bus terminal, military sources said.

The sources said that the Syrian army’s 63rd Brigade of the 4th Mechanized Division – in coordination with Hezbollah, the Syrian Social Nationalist Party (SSNP), and the National Defense Forces (NDF) – continued their advance in the nearby areas of Zabadani on Sunday, as they secured more sites en route to tightening the chokehold around the embattled rebels’ necks.
