Army Regains Control of Strategic Highway in South

TEHRAN (FNA)- The Syrian army inflicted heavy losses on the terrorists in the Southern parts of Syria and regained control of a strategic highway.

The army units backed by artillery units took control of Damascus-Homs International highway, and killed a large number of terrorists in heavy clashes.

Also in the past 24 hours, the Army destroyed a 400-meter-long tunnel in the countryside of Aleppo.

Elsewhere, the army units also destroyed over a dozen of terrorists and killed all the passengers on board in al-Qalamoun Mountains in the countryside of Damascus.

Meanwhile, the Syrian army destroyed a large gathering of terrorists and a weapons cache in Tal Asfar area in the Northeastern countryside of Sweida province.

In Erbin town, the army carried out a special operation against one of the terrorists’ dens and killed several terrorists in clashes in Harsta.

A military source said that the Syrian army killed a number of terrorists in al-Bajabjeh neighborhood in Daraa al-Balad.

The source added that the army also killed a number of terrorists and injured several others in Sheikh Miskin and Qarfa in Daraa countrysidein Southern Syria.

Mohammad Salim al-Qarqa’e, leader of so-called “Liwa Ahbab al-Rasol” was among the terrorists killed in Daraa countryside.

Also, a unit of the army destroyed a terrorists’ hideout, killing all those inside it, in Kafr Nasij in the Northwestern countryside of Daraa province.

Also, a military source said that another army unit thwarted a terrorists’ infiltration attempt from Jordan towards Syria Southwest of al-Mata’iya in Daraa countryside.

Units of the army and armed forces launched strikes against several dens for terrorist organizations in Abu al-Duhour and the surrounding villages of al-Hamidiyeh, Um Jerin and Tal Salmo in the countryside of the Northern Idlib province.

Meanwhile, a military source confirmed on Thursday that the operations in those areas resulted in killing many of the terrorist organizations’ members, in addition to destroying several of their vehicles and weapons.

Elsewhere, units of the army killed 25 terrorists in Dkeileh and al-Bal’as areas in the countryside of the central province of Hama.

Takfiri Terrorists Killed in Syria’s Hama Province

TEHRAN (FNA)- At least 25 Takfiri terrorists were killed and several other were injured in the Syrian Army’s operations in the Central province of Hama.

Syrian soldiers, who staged massive attacks against gathering centers of Takfiri terrorists, killed 14 fighters in Dkeileh village in the countryside of al-Salamiyeh town.

11 other terrorists were killed by army men in Mount al-Bal’as on the road linking Eqeirbat town and Palmyra city.

Syrian Army Advances against Rebels in Southwestern Daraa Province

TEHRAN (FNA)- Syrian Armed Forces inflicted heavy losses upon insurgent groups in various parts of Daraa province.

Syrian soldiers raided insurgent strongholds in Al-Mata’iya in the countryside of Daraa province, killing a number of them and wounding some other.

Rebels’ supply lines with the Israeli army in the south of Aqraba and Tal affiya among the triangle of Kafer Nasej, Dier Addas and Kafar Shams were targeted by the Syrian troops who killed many fighters in the battlefronts.

Ibrahim Hariri, Abdo Mohammad al-Qarqahe, Khalil Ibrahim al-Mubasbes were among the rebel groups’ killed members in the province’s northern countryside.

Nabe’ al-Sakhr village, Southwest of Tal al-Hara, was the scene of heavy clashes between Syrian soldiers and insurgents who left too many killed an inured and fled the battlefield.

TEHRAN (FNA)- Syrian Army’s advances against rebels, including killing of 24 members of the ISIL terrorist group, in the Central Homs province were aye-catching.

Jazel and al-Shaer areas, as two strongholds of the ISIL terrorists in the Eastern countryside of Homs, were targeted by the Syrian troops who killed 24 fighters at the spot, and injured so many others.

Meantime, Syrian troops killed a number of Takfiri terrorists during their operations in two villages of Om al-Reesh and Onoq al-Hawa and the road connecting Western Habra to Rajem al-Qaser at the Eastern countryside of Homs province.

Iran Hails Syrian Army’s Recent Victories against Terrorists

TEHRAN (FNA)- Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian lauded the Syrian army’s recent victories against the foreign-backed terrorists in the Arab country, and said that all parts of Syria will be purged of the militants in the near future.

“The mighty presence of the Syrian army and the popular forces and their large-scale military operations against the terrorists in various fronts in Syria is the harbinger of near future defeat of the terrorist in that country,” Amir Abdollahian said.

The Iranian deputy foreign minister referred to the recent victories of the Syrian army in the Northern parts of Syria, and said, “Those victories will beyond doubt lead to the liberation of Aleppo in the near future.”

Amir Abdollahian renewed Iran’s support for political solution to the Syrian crisis, and said, “The crisis in Syria can only be resolved through Syrian-Syrian dialogue.”
